In America, and probably the UK, when you buy your cinema ticket, if its within the first week after the release you will receive a very special Ancient Mew game card. It is special because it is entirely holographic! Not only that but the card is written in Hieroglyphics, (Egyptian writing). When it was given away when you went to see the first movie in Japan, there was an error, instead of saying ©Nintendo, it said ©Nintedo, this was quickly corrected, resulting in 3 different versions:

• The original error version (can sell for about $400!)
• The corrected Japanese card (value unknown)
• The American version (value: about $1!)
• I suppose there would be a UK edition but there would be no difference to the American version.

If you don't go within the first week of release, you will receive one of the legendary birds as a promo card. Not Ho-oh or Lugia though, just the originals. Here is what all the cards do...

Ancient Mew
HP: 30
Attack: 2 Psychic, 30 Damage (I THINK)
Weakness: Psychic
Retreat: 2 Energy
Resistance: None

Moltres
HP: 70
Attack: Hyper Flame: Flip a coin, if heads discard one fire energy card attached to Moltres. If tails, discard all Energy cards attached to Moltres. If you can't discard energy cards this attack does nothing. 60 Damage
Weakness: None
Resistance: Fighting -30
Retreat: 1 Energy

Articuno
HP: 70
Attack: Diamond Dust: 3 Water Energy: Flip a coin. If heads the defending Pokémon is now paralyzed, and this attack does 10 damage to each of your opponents benched Pokémon. (Don't apply weakness and resistance for benched Pokémon). 20 Damage
Weakness: None
Resistance: Fighting -30
Retreat: 1 Energy

Zapdos
HP: 70
Attack: Lightning Burn: 3 Electric Energy: Flip a coin, if heads and if your opponent has any benched Pokémon, choose one of them. This attack does 30 damage to that Pokémon. (Don't apply weakness and resistance for benched Pokémon). If tails, Zapdos does 30 damage to itself.
Weakness: None
Resistance: Fighting -30
Retreat: 1 Energy.
