Invisible items are items that are not shown as a Pokéball. If they're on the floor, you can walk over them without knowing they're there. Some of them are obvious - lone rocks and plants are good targets, as are dead ends. In GSC, though, the items have been hidden better than those in RBY, so you may need some help. Whip out your Itemfinder, and use the table below to find the items!

Note: You don't need an Itemfinder, but it helps. Learn to use your Itemfinder. If it responds, it means there's an item somewhere in the screen. I don't imagine that this list is complete, but it's a start.

Violet City Hyper Potion Use Cut on the bush near Earl's Academy - the item is in the dead end.
Route 32 Super Potion In the top-right corner of the grassy area north of the bridge.
Route 32 Great Ball In the dead end near the Poké Center.
Route 33 Full Heal In the middle block on the top of the Slowpoke Well.
Ilex Forest Full Heal In the dead end to the right of the sign that warns about dropped items.
Ilex Forest Super Potion Head northeast of the Full Heal - the item is in a small dead end.
Ilex Forest Ether In a small dead end near the exit.
Route 34 Super Potion In the Daycare Center's garden, in the corner formed by the water (if the Daycare Lady has a Pokémon, it'll be sitting on the item).
Goldenrod City Parlyz Heal Between the two desks furthest up in the underground.
Goldenrod City Antidote Near the door to the Basement.
Basement, Goldenrod City Max Potion Press the first switch - the item is one step to the right of the corner of the room to the south.
Basement, Goldenrod City Revive Make sure switches 1 and 2 are off, and switch on switch 3. The item is in the small room, on the left side.
National Park Full Heal Go through the gap in the fence at the top, then follow the path to the left. The item is in the dead end near the entrance.
Route 37 Ether In the top-left corner near the topmost grassy area (near the sign).
Ecruteak City Hyper Potion In the corner formed by the water in the north.
Burned Tower Burn Heal Jump down the hole to the right of the entrance - you are standing on the item.
Burned Tower Ultra Ball Jump down the hole to the left of the entrance - the item is next to you.
Route 39 Nugget In the middle of the cow field.
Olivine Lighthouse Hyper Potion In the dead end south of stairs on the fifth floor.
Route 40 Hyper Potion Use Rock Smash on the rock on the left. The item is underneath.
Cianwood City Max Ether Use Rock Smash on the rock near the house. The item is underneath.
Cianwood City Revive Use Rock Smash on the second rock from the top. The item is underneath.
Route 42 Max Potion In the bottom-left corner of the block in the centre of the western pool.
Lake of Rage Full Restore Follow the wall to the left from the entrance from Mahogany Town. Surf as soon as you reach water, ignoring the fruit-bearing tree and reaching a path at the top. The item is in a dead end past two ledges.
Lake of Rage Rare Candy From the Full Restore, follow the twisted road. Use Cut, then follow the wall to the left. The item is in a dead end.
Lake of Rage Max Ether Follow the lake itself to the right until you reach a dead end. The item is in that small corner.
Team Rocket Hideout, Mahogany City Revive Two steps above the stairs leading down, in the trap.
Team Rocket Hideout, Mahogany City Full Heal On the scond floor, in a cupboard near the computer.
Ice Path Carbos In the south-west corner of the huge ice room.
Ice Path Ice Heal In a lone rock on the next floor down (you need to reach it from the ladder platform).
Ice Path Max Potion In a lone rock on the next floor down.
Dragon's Den Revive In the dead end to the right of the door to the large room.
Dragon's Den Max Potion In a block directly south of the entrance (Surf to it).
Dragon's Den Max Elixer Surf as far around the cave as you can go, then surf to the west from the final platform. The item is in a block in the corner.
Route 44 PP Up In a pool of water on the east side of the path (you'll need Surf).
Victory Road Full Heal In a lone rock near the entrance.
Victory Road Max Potion In a rock under a hole near the exit.
Vermilion City Full Heal In the plant next to the Cuttable shrub that leads to the gym.
Vermilion City Iron Take the SS Aqua from Olivine City, then Surf as soon as you exit the ship. Keep going - the item is to your right.
Route 24 Potion In a lone plant in the northwest.
Celadon City PP Up In a dead end (actually inside the plant).
Route 17 Max Ether In the grass, near the bottom-right. It's tricky to get, since this is the Cycling Road.
Route 17 Max Elixer In the fence at the bottom of the route.
Route 13 Calcium A strange one, this - a sign tells you to check the left side of the post. The item is in the fence to the RIGHT of the sign.
Route 12 Elixer There's a square bridge here surrounded by water. Surf to it; the item is in the bottom-left corner.
Route 11 Revive In the lone plant in the east.
Diglett's Cave Max Revive In the lone rock in the middle of the cave.
Viridian Forest Full Restore In the top-left tree in the square of trees near the entrance.
Viridian Forest Revive Go to the dead-end in the east - the item is in the tree underneath you.
Viridian Forest Max Ether Go to the dead end to the south of the Berry tree, and face the right. The item is in that tree.
Viridian Forest Full Heal In the dead end to the north of the Max Ether.
Route 4 Ultra Ball North from a female trainer is a fenced-in area. The item is near the top, in the middle.
Cinnabar Island Rare Candy In the corner to the northeast of where you met Blue.
Underground Path (Vermilion - Cerulean) X Special On the floor somewhere - find it with the Itemfinder.
Underground Path (Vermilion - Cerulean) Full Restore On the floor somewhere - find it with the Itemfinder.
Cerulean City Beserk Gene The Holy Grail of invisible items! Someone in an open area will say their Itemfinder is responding. Go up to Route 24, then Surf down. The person is facing the Beserk Gene, which is in the water. This item can only be gained here, and doubles your Pokémon's Attack but confuses it. It can only be used once, so save it for link battles or Stadium 2.
