If you attach this to a Pokémon it can hold a message and when you trade, that Pokémon, its even more fun!(!).

Berserk Gene Raises your Pokémon's attack and defense stat, but confuses the said Pokémon. In the water where the Unknown Dungeon used to be. Just go around the general area pressing A all the time.
Big Mushroom Does nothing, but sells for a lot Attached to wild Paras/Parasect 1.5% of the time.
Big Pearl Another item to sell Attached to a wild Shellder 1.5% of the time.
Bitter Berry Cure's your Pokémon from confusion. Specific trees.
Blackbelt Powers up fighting type moves by 10% Lake of Rage on a Wednesday.
Black Glasses Powers up dark type moves by 10% On Friday at the very top of dark cave.
BLK Apricorn An apricorn that Kurt will make make into a Heavy Ball. Specific trees.
Blue Sky Mail MAIL that features the sky! PokéMarts around the world 50
Blu Apricorn An apricorn that Kurt will make into a Lure Ball. Specific trees.
Brick Piece Sell it now! Trade Machop from RBY, its attached.
Burn Heal Heals the Pokémon from burns, surprisingly. Buy in PokéMart 250
Burnt Berry Defrosts your Pokémon from freezing. Specific trees.
Calcium Ups the special stats of one of your 'mon. Buy it somewhere! 9800
Carbos Ups the speed of a Pokémon. Buy it somewhere! 9800
Charcoal Powers up fire type moves by 10% Azealea town, one from a man for rescuing Farfetch'd, and its also sold for 9800. 9800
Cleanse Tag Repels wild Pokémon. South of Cerulean City (where the day-care city used to be).
Coin Case Allows you to hold game coins, and play the games! Goldenrod tunnel.
Dire Hit Raises the chances of critical hits. Buy in one of the large PokéMarts. Or, Mystery Gift. 650
Dragon Fang Power's up dragon type moves by 10%. Dragon's Den.
Dragon Scale Trade whilst attached to Seadra to get Kingdra! In Stadium 2 it ups dragon attacks by 10%. Attached to Red Gyrados (found in Lake of Rage).
Elixer Restores 10PP on each move on the Pokémon you specify. Buy it!
Energy Powder Yet another restore item. Restores 50HP but will make your Pokémon unhappy because its bitter. Old woman's shop in Goldenrod tunnel.
Energy Root Restores an alarming 200HP! Again, its bitter. Old woman's shop in Goldenrod tunnel.

Hard Stone Powers up rock type moves by 10%. Route 36 on Thursday.
Heal Powder a BITTER cure to status problems. Old woman's shop in Goldenrod.
HP UP Ups a Pokémon's HP. Celedon PokéMarts basement. 9800
Hyper Potion Like energy root this potion restores 200HP. PokéMarts.
Ice Berry Automatically heals a Pokémon's burns Trees.
Ice Heal Heals your Pokémon from a frozen state. PokéMarts. 250
Iron Raises the selected Pokémon's defense. Large PokéMarts. 9800
King's Rock Trade a slowpoke holding this and it'll evolve!  Raises the chance of a critical hit on moves with no side-effect, such as tackle.
Leaf Stone Use it on certain grass Pokémon and they'll evolve. (Gloom, Weepinbell and Exeggute). Show Bill's Grandfather the Pokémon he wants to see.  
Leftovers After each turn recovers a bit of health. Snorlax, trade a Snorlax from RBY, and the rubbish bin (trade can for everyone in America) in Celedon Café. 
Lemonade Restores 80HP on the selected Pokémon. Celedon PokéMart.
Light Ball Ups Pikachu's special attack. Not Pichu or Raichu. Trade Pikachu from yellow.

Magnet Power's up electric type moves by 10%. Route 37 on a Sunday.
Max Elixer Restores all PP for every move on the selected Pokémon. Search the floors of places!
Max Ether Fully restores the PP of only one move. Search the floors of places!
Max Repel Repels wild Pokémon (of a lower level than the first 'mon in your party) for 500 steps. PokéMarts.
Max Revive Fully restores the HP on one Pokémon. PokéMarts.
Metal Coat Trade Onix with this attached to get Steelix, or trade Scyther with this attached to get Scizor! Find the missing Granddaughter on the Fast Ship and its also attached to 1.5% of wild Magnemites.
Metal Powder Ups Ditto's defence. Trade Ditto from RBY.
Mint Berry Automatically wakes the Pokémon up if it is put to sleep. Various Tree's.  
Miracle Berry Heals your Pokémon of any status problems automatically. Various Tree's.

Moon Stone Evolves certain Pokémon. (Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Nidorina, Nidorino). Every Monday night, rock smash the rock after watching the Clefairy do their "thing". There's unlimited stones, make use of it! Also, your mother occasionally buys one for you.

Pearl Does nothing. Sell it. Trade Shellder from RBY.
Pink Bow Power's up Normal type moves by 10%. A girl in the radio tower gives it to you, or ofcourse, route 29 on a Tuesday.
PNK Apricorn Give this to Kurt and he'll make it into a Love Ball. Various Trees.
Poison Barb Power's up poison type moves by 10%. Route 32 on a Friday or attached to about 1.5% of Beedrill.
Pokédoll Escape easily from wild Pokémon. PokéMarts 1000
Polkadot Bow Powers up Normal type moves by 10%. Trade a Jigglypuff from Red, Blue or Yellow.
Portrait Mail MAIL that features a picture of the Pokémon holding it. Mystery Gift 50
Potion Restores 50HP on the selected Pokémon. PokéMarts. 300
PP UP Ups the PP of one move. Come second on the Lucky Number show.
Protein Raises the attack of the selected Pokémon. Large PokéMarts. 9800
PRZ Cureberry Automatically heals the Pokémon from being paralyzed. Various trees.
PSN Cureberry Automatically heals the Pokémon from being poisoned. Various trees.
Quick Claw The Pokémon holding this will strike first 9.8% of the time more. Woman in the national park.
Rage candy bar Does nothing. Sells terribly. DO NOT BUY! Dody dealer when you to exit Mahogony town.
Rainbow Wing You need to get Ho-oh to appear. GOLD: FILL THIS IN
SILVER: Guy in Pewter City.

Rare Candy Ups your Pokémon's level by one. Save until your Pokémon is in the level 90's, because its harder to train them. Also, its worth taking into account that the Pokémon doesn't gain any stat experience. Various places around the Pokémon world. E-Mail us if you know any exact locations.
Red Apricorn Give this to Kurt and he'll make it in a Level ball. Various trees.
Red Scale Give this to Mr Pokémon and he'll give you an EXP Share. Attached to the Red Gyrados.
Repel Repels wild Pokémon (of a lower level than the first monster in your party) for 250 steps. PokéMarts. 350
Revival Herb Does the same thing as a revive, only this time its bitter! Old woman's shop in Goldenrod tunnel.

Sacred Ash Revives every Pokémon in your party! Attached to Ho-oh.
Scope Lens Ups the critical hit ratio. Mystery Gift.
Secret Potion Take this from the Pharmacist in Cianwood to the lighthouse in Olivine. Pharmacist in Cianwood city.
Sharp Beak Powers up flying type moves by 10%. Route 40 on Monday and attached to 1.5% of wild Spearow, Fearow and Dodrio.
Silver Leaf Does nothing. Sell it. FILL THIS IN
Silver Powder Powers up Bug type moves by 10%. Attached to 1.5% of wild Butterfree.

Pokéballs

Pokéball A normal regular, nothing special, ball used for catching Pokémon. PokéMarts early in the game. 200
Great Ball A ball that gives you a better chance of catching Pokémon. PokéMarts mid-way through the game. 600
Ultra Ball A ball that gives you an even better chance of catching Pokémon. PokéMarts late in the game. 1200
Master Ball A ball that will always catch the Pokémon. Win the lucky number show. In Gold and Silver, when you get the Dragon Fang and leave the Dragon's Den and Elm will call you.
Fast Ball A ball that is good for catching fast Pokémon. Kurt will make it.
Friend Ball If you catch a Pokémon using this, its happiness will be at 200 points instead of the usual 70. Kurt will make it.
Moon Ball A ball suited to catching Pokémon that evolve by moon stone. Kurt will make it.
Love Ball A ball for catching Pokémon of the opposite gender to the Pokémon you have out.  Kurt will make it.
Heavy Ball A ball for catching heavy Pokémon. Kurt will make it.
Level Ball A ball for catching Pokemon on a lower level than the Pokémon you have out. Kurt will make it.
Lure Ball A ball which works well against Pokémon caught on a fishing rod. Kurt will make it.
