Ruby, Sapphire & Emerald Other Pages: Who's the best? |

All the data here is for Pokemon that appear normally in Ruby and Sapphire; that is without cheating.

HP

1st: Wobbuffet (584 HP)
2nd: Wailord (544 HP)
3rd: Slaking (504 HP)
4th: Hariyama (492 HP)
5th: Wailmer (464 HP)

WORST: Shedinja (1 HP)

Wobbuffet has taken the title this time, seeing as Blissey isn’t available in R/S. Shedinja gets the prize for the worst ever HP- partly understandable when you see his characteristic however.

Attack

1st: Slaking (419)
2nd: Groudon (399)
2nd: Rayquaza (399)
4th: Deoxys (399)
5th: Salamence (369)
5th: Metagross (369)

WORST: Feebas (129)

A few ties in this one. Deoxys is up there, but really it shouldn’t be, as it can only be obtained through cheating. Slaking wins, but its characteristic means that it only attacks every 2 turns.

Defense

1st: Regirock (499)
2nd: Aggron (459)
3rd: Registeel (399)
4th: Lairon (379)
4th: Torkoal (379)
4th: Groudon (379)

WORST: Pichu (129)

It may surprise you but even Feebas has a better Speed than this popular Pokemon.

Speed

1st: Ninjask (419)
(2nd: Deoxys (399))
3rd: Electrode (379)
4th: Crobat (359)
5th: Swellow (349)
6th: Sceptile (339)

WORST: Trapinch (119)

Yet again Deoxys is only up there because it’s an R/S Pokemon.

Special Attack

1st: Kyogre (399)
1st: Rayquaza (399)
(1st: Deoxys (399))
4th: Latios (359)
5th: Gardevoir (349)
6th: Magneton (339)

WORST: Feebas (119)

Kyogre finally makes an appearance, but unfortunately it has to share its crown with Rayquaza (and Deoxys). And as for the last place- does it really surprise you?

Special Defense

1st: Regice (499)
2nd: Registeel (399)
3rd: Kyogre (379)
4th: Dusclops (359)
4th: Latias (359)

WORST: Magikarp/ Carvanha (139)

Regice is just in a different league to all the others. A big surprise with the worst place however…

Top 10 Pokemon

10th: Deoxys (1899)
10th: Jirachi (1899)
10th: Latios (1899)
10th: Latias (1899)
10th: Metagross (1899)
10th: Salamence (1899)
4th: Groudon (2039)
4th: Kyogre (2039)
4th: Slaking (2039)
1st: Rayquaza (2059)

Although most of the best Pokemon seem to come in little groups, Rayquaza was eventually the clear winner.

Thanks to Typhlosion for this!

But, annoyingly, all of the others in the top ten are legendary, so they cant be used in competitions...
