PKMN.NET :: Underused :: Competitive Battling Gen III Tiers
Competitive Battling Gen III Tiers: Underused |

Underused (UU) Pokémon

UU stands for UnderUsed and Pokémon in this list tend not to get used in standard play due to worse stats or a poorer movepool. People are attracted to this metagame because they are fed up of the few standard Pokémon dominating the OU metagame. Pokémon in a higher tier (OU and Uber) are not allowed. Note that this exact list is specific to PKMN.NET and the RSE metagame.

Erm, just wondering: why is Dunsparce on this list? I'd have thought it to be a little higher, considering of its haxxy nature. Thunderwave + Headbutt @ King's Rock is a murderer combined with Serenegrace. But it's still cool. ;)

Most of my team is on the list. T,t Enigma, there is no reason to Dunsparce @ King's Rock, as it only raises flinching on moves that don 't already have a second effect. But Dunsparce is still my most favorite Pokemon.

Probably having to do with Thick Club usage.

Ok, but Shelgon? I know that Pikauchu might have the Light Ball, but I don't understand Shelgon......
Lord Raven on Fri 03 Aug 2007 23:50:08 UTC.
Shelgon has loads of Defense and Dragon Dance, as well as a good movepool.

I didn't make these lists, Derek... lol Blastoise, Feraligatr, and Meganium are very, very average Pokemon. ._.

Meganium is not average. At least not by its stats or moveset. But blastoise and feraligatr should at least be on the borderline >:(

Some of these Pokemon listed here really arent all that bad. Just because it's better known to not be great as a battler doesn't mean that it isn't. If it's EVd right with the right moves and items, then they could be pretty damn good. Maybe not enough to take out an uber, but then in a plain battle with other UUs and even BLs it could do pretty good.
