The Entralink. Sounds very modern and technological doesn't it? It's actually a brand new feature within Black and White that allows you to connect with your friends via your shiny little C-Gear.

It's effectively the Generation V version of The Underground. One user gets to host the Entralink meeting and one user then connects to the others game. The user connecting to the other users game gets to view the world in a rather striking monocrome colour scheme, and will appear as your allocated multiplayer avatar. When connecting to another users world you can visit pretty much any area within Unova, and your friends character also appears in real-time.

So, I hear you ask. Why even bother? Well, the Entralink allows you to complete various missions, either teaming up with your friend or competing against them. You can accept missions by interacting with the Entree, the gigantic tree located in the middle of the Entralink Forest. Successfully completing this missions provides you with a currency with which you can purchase Deru Powers - special powers which can provide you with certain power-ups in the "real world". When I say that, I do of course mean you own game save. Oh, and it'll also cause the Entree to grow. For all that it matters.

After completing six missions in one visit, the roles will be reversed and the host user will be forced to switch. This may also happen if you fail a mission.
