To sign up to the Global Link you will first need to sync your game save with the online server. This can be done as soon as you receive the C-Gear in-game from Fennel. To do so, simply select "Game Sync Settings" from the list of options on the start menu.

The game will then display a screen containing your unique Game Sync ID.

Now simply head on over to the Pokémon Global Link website at www.pokemon-gl.com where you will be asked to login or register. When registering you will be asked for your Game Sync ID, will which allow you to register your own game with your Global Link account.
