After a long downtime, Pokémon UK is back. If you click "Read More" you can get the inside story on why it took so long.

It was said that at the end of October 2001 our old host decided that they couldn't afford hosting fees anymore. (Hosting in the process of a website having somewhere to go on the internet. If you don't understand, smile and nod). As clever as PUK is, we hastily paid £41 for hosting with an Austrailian firm called "Hostonce". After about half a day of being online, Pokémon UK was taken down due to it containing "Copyrighted images" (which it didn't). After about 3 weeks of e-mails demanding a refund, they said they'd be OK with it, and host PUK. They reactivate my account but alas, my domain (the web address) didn't work. Why? Because they'd given me the wrong information to make it work. After two weeks of e-mails they finnally spewed the correct information, but that didn't work until I e-mailed the people who look after my domain. By this time, I had already demanded a refund again, and when I finally got it (a week later), I had found a much better host. HostRocket were a wonderful bunch of people and a page saying "back soon" was up within 12 hours. It makes you think, why does it take some people 7 weeks, and others only a matter of hours. Now everyone be happy, and don't worry Donky, your stuff will be up when PUK fully reopens.
