PUK has some data regarding how well Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire did upon its release in Japan. Its staggering.

Remember Vital Statistics?
Pokémon getting less popular? Pah! ("Pah", as in "Pahaps the cynics are wrong).

In Japan alone, RS had an astonishing two million pre-orders! That means that two and a half percent of the population have bought Pokémon RS - it may not sound a lot, but Japan does have a population of 126 million!

To add to that amazing figure, 800,000 copies of the games were "snapped up" on its first weekend.

At the moment, slightly more people have bought Pokémon Ruby- with 432,763 copies compared to 418,798 copies of Sapphire.

This really does destroy Psythor's buying stratergy of getting what he thinks to be the least popular game- having already bought the more popular Blue and Gold predicting that they would be the least popular.
