With a new TCG set launching soon, what better time for Nintendo to EXecute and EXtremely well timed PRomotion?

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

On June 14th at the Pokémon Center in New York, they'll be holding some sort of party- there were plans for a legal-grey-area rave, but it was later shelved in favour of Pokémon themed things in store.

Why? On June 18th, "Pokémon-e EX: Ruby & Sapphire" is out in America. It will include cards like the Treeko thats on the left.

They'll be a TCG "school", where you can learn to play, and so called "inside tips" from the so called experts. The scissors strategy is still unconfirmed to be on the agenda.

As is standard with the PokéCenter events, the Radio Disney(!) "Party Patrol" (No, really), will be there, presumably keeping order in a world of deceit, and they'll be a concert by "former Dream Street artist Greg Raposo". They seem to be quite famous, as there's several pictures of him on Google.

Of course, they'll be the standard Balloon artists, face painters, competitions and Chuckle Brother's look-a-likes too.
