We all knew it was too good to be true- America will be getting the next game in the Stadium series after Japan, after all. UPDATED!

Update 15:52

Daniel is reporting that Amazon say December 4th and Electronics Boutique say December 1st- looks like we'll have to wait and see.

The game, which is Pokémon's first Gamecube outing is a continuation of the Pokémon Stadium series- allowing plays to hook up their GBA and play with their Pokémon in full 3D. There are also strong rumours ("rumours" being the key word) that you will be able to obtain previously unobtainable Pokémon in the games too.

It was previously thought that the game would be out in the States on September 20th- this now looks set to have been delayed by ages, to December 20th. Five days before Christmas, and the 30th anniversary of the then Spanish Prime Minister's assasination. Splendid.

PUK will keep you informed of any developments, as knowing Nintendo, the date will be pushed back even further.

Of course, British fans can pre-order Pokémon Colosseum via PUK, and help us pay for hosting at the same time- there's only a semi-concrete date for Stadium at the moment, but preordering via PUK means that you'll get it ASAP. Just Click here.
