WOTC sue NOA + POKEMONUSA :: News

Wizards of the Coast, the former-producers and distributors of Pokémon TCG cards are suing Nintendo and "Pokémon USA".

Long story short: a few months ago, Nintendo broke it ties with Wizards, in favour of the vampires at Pokémon USA producing trading cards "in house". The first set to not be made by Wizards was "EX: Ruby & Sapphire".

Word on the street is that Wizards are unhappy that Nintendo "undermined" their operation, by setting everything up, including hiring two Wizards guys, to transfer production to Nintendo. They accuse Nintendo of infringing patents and "mishandling of trade secrets".

Americans- they'll sue for anything. For example, breach of trade secrets by former employees.
