Kids WB has announced a seventh season of the Pokémon animé will air from this Autumn on the channel. UPDATED 6/3

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

The top channel for American children, Kids WB, has made a statement about it's "Fall" (autumn to us Brits) schedule for this year and confirmed that there are 52 "original" episodes of Pokémon: Advanced lined up to take us through to 2005. The season will see Ash, Brock, May and Max continue their journey through Hoenn. One of the main highlights for this season will undoubtedly be Misty's return for a few episodes.

It's not yet known whether UK channels Sky One or GMTV have renewed their contracts to show this season.

Update 6/3 - American viewers will get a taste of series 7 next Saturday, March 13th, when Kids WB airs a programme called 'The Future of Pokémon'. Clips will be shown from future dubbed episodes including Fly Bagon! Toward the Future!, Togepi and the Kingdom of Illusions! and Zangoose & Seviper! Rival Confrontation. Last year, two full episodes were shown but that's unlikely to happen this time unless there is a last minute schedule change.
