Perhaps the best thing to come out of Denmark since the phonic wheel motor, PUK reader saBA has got some official Nintendo confirmation on some stuff. Updated!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Update 31/03/04

Following yesterdays news, saBA tells me that Jirachi is in fact available in POKMON CHANNEL, once you've completed the game! Crikey!

Earlier this month we reported on a rumoured bundle deal and now its contents have been confirmed.

So yes, this does mean we (the people on the conquering/slave trading/constant war-ring side of the Atlantic) get Pokémon Box too.

Thing is, apparently, Pokémon Box may not be available individually, which is bound to dissapoint a lot of people, including me (who you SHOULD care deeply about). Another twist in the relatively straight-line tale is that this bundle might not be released until a while after Colosseum comes out- six months after, or something.

"What?! Americans want blood money for not getting a free memory", a patriotic American, like Tony Blair, might say.

Europeans don't get a free Jirachi, which is the next best thing to blood money. We'll have to wait until Nintendo do some sort of events like they did for Mew. The next events are rumoured to be held sometime between 2008 and 2050.

As if this isn't exciting enough, saBA has also gotten a picture of the box, so you'll know what to look for.

Incidentally, if you buy Colosseum via PUK, we get some cash, and that should help PUK directly by paying for things we need, or enhancing my DVD collection. (At least I'm honest).
