PUK's new favourite member Susan went to the Netherlands "Live at the Colosseum" event today- she's very kindly written us a report and got us some fantastic pictures!

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Here is what she has to say:

Eindhoven, Evaluon around 13:45it was the silence before the stormthe storm of Pokémon fans that is!

When I arrived they were already putting up a big Groundon and a Treeco in the front of the building. After waiting for a while, more pokémon fans showed up. I had to wait in a line first for the real tickets but I just showed my badge I received from James a.k.a. Psythor and just walked in, after asking for a tourI got none. So I just walked around the area and made pictures. In a corner you could download Jirachi onto your game and in another corner they were just fighting over keyringsand my photographer just took one :p

You could win fabulous prizes by just doing stupid things like yelling into a microphone o.O;; can you belive that? To bad my photographer didnt got picked, but hey. *shrugs*

I also joined in, in a competition against the computer, and I was one of the 22 who won against the computer. But because I was only there to report I just gave it to a guy who lost with a very bad team (chosen by the computer) and so I got a Latios and a Kingdra on lvl 100 *que the ohhhhhh* but anyways, I got my Jirachi! Thanks James for the badge!!!

When I left, I got a goody bag and NO there was no pez in it, only a book of Nintendo Gamecube and a pen and a cap.

It just goes to show, a PUK badge is equally, if not more important than a Blue Peter badge.

If you're featured in any of these pictures, we'd love to know, and if you attended the event, why not post your throughts in the comments box below this article?

MORE PICTURES!

Some propaganda and a deflated Torchic.

An inflatable Groudon and Treecko. Kudos to anyone who can send me one to put outside my house.

Susan and her Photographer about to be mauled by a large inflatable Groudon.

The now fully inflated Torchic.

A side-burned guy playing Pokémon Colosseum. Afterall, that is why they're all there. Interesting to note that the game they were playing was in English.

Pokémon Pinball RS, as played on a GBA SP.

Jirachi coming for a visit on Colosseum... or Channel. Interestingly, this is also in English.

Susan gesturing "everyones okay", flanked by loads of Pokémon fans, and what looks like a stall selling snackfoods of American origin.

Susan concentrating on playing Pokémon Colosseum, or transforming into a robot. Either way, there is TV around the edge of the room she's in all showing Colosseum.

Apparently, these two were having a Pokémon battle, but it ended in a draw. They decided to settle their differences in a real fight. There's a lesson here: violence solves everything. Probably.

Susan's photographer, outside some stereotype Dutch housing, wearing two hats, and holding Gamecube propaganda.

Exciting stuff- a massive THANK YOU to Susan and everyone who helped her, we can't thank you enough!

Have great memories of that event. There was a competition that I miraculously placed 4th in, winning a goodie bag with t-shirts, a beach ball and more stuff.
