We're more excited than Michael Jackson in a playground- a Japanese company have released some Japanese DS game cases with Pokémon on them for the Japanese market.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

"Card Pocket 3 Pokémon" are plastic cases similar to that of really old Game Boy games- only they're DS game size. That's "really small" to you and me. Why should you care? They have stickers of Pikachu, Torchic and Munchlax on. It get's this exciting, folks.

They're sold in packs of three. By which I mean, there's only three different designs available, as far as we're aware. Best bit is that they're a steal at only 420 yen (that's $3.50, £2.08, 511.78 Kazakhstan tenges)- or free, if you do literally steal them.

Only available in Japan, too, I'm afraid. Not that it's my fault.

Anyway, to get some expert analysis on this exciting product, we invited two leading pundits to spout their opinions like the information fountains they are: Former Home Secretary David Blunkett and his guide dog Lucy.

"I think these new cases will help decrease the number of illegal dustmites from entering the cartridge. I'm rock 'ard me, don't mess with the best because the best will only mess if it is deemed neccessary, and is not visiting his illegitimate child."

"Woof. Woof. Bark. Woof. OK, I admit it, I was the power behind the throne- David is the one who shows me where to go. Erm... woof."

Thank you pundits.
