Cartoon Network UK, who operate the Toonami channel on Sky TV and cable will be showing some more Pokémon episodes.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

Apparently, Cartoon Network have got episodes of Pokémon: Advanced Challenge, which is season eight... as well as 22 episodes of Pokémon Chronicles, which are the Japanese "Hoso" series of spin offs.

Brian Lacey, who's the "executive VP of international at 4Kids Entertainment" (aka Captain Important), had this to say:

“This exciting partnership with Cartoon Network UK represents an important part of our strategic plan to keep the Pokémon brand very much front and center in the U.K. market. Cartoon Network is an excellent destination for kid viewers, especially as we look to establish a new fan base among the next generation of children. The Pokémon Chronicles, never before broadcast outside Japan, will delight Pokémon fans and provide Cartoon Network with an outstanding promotional punch.”

(That's what Google Image Search thinks he looks like, anyway.)

Despite all these mentions of Cartoon Network, our money's on these episodes being shown on Toonami, which Cartoon Network also own.
