Meanwhile, Europe waits for number 7.

This news item is more than 45 days old. Updates are unlikely and newer information may already be available.

The 11th Pokémon Movie, due for release on July 19th 2008 in Japan (and July 3008 in Europe) will be called Giratina and the Sky Bouquet.

So what can tell from this? Well from the image on the front page that you may have clicked to get here, we know Regigigas will feature. To hazard a risky guess, it's possible Giratina will feature in the movie as well. And bouquet? It's widely being regarded this refers to Shaymin.

And erm, that's it. Speculate wildly or whatever it is you lot do nowadays.

It ll come to the US, but proberly not till 2009. Also, theres a good chanse that won't be the final title. The final title should be finalised in March/April. There was also a clip on the offical website too. ;)

Blimey...three legendary Pokémon, and a seemingly random combination at that...what's this gonna be all about? But I guess they're just trying to get through as many of the Sinnoh legendaries as they can, since there're so many now...I expect Cresselia, Heatran, and just maybe even Arceus will get in the next one, and the legendary trio will probably only get time in the main series. Then the movie after that will feature fifth gen stuff...

Random? Giratina is, long before the movie name was comfirmed, accepted as the third counterpart to Dialga and Palkia.

Pokemon movies are always been rubbish. The only good ones are always 1, 2 & 3. Note to the people who make Pokemon: FACE IT, POKEMON ARE RUBBISH AS A ANIME MEDIUM

BY, I was refering to Giratina, Regigigas, and Shaymin, the three mentioned in the article, not Dialga or Palkia, who weren't. I've since found elsewhere that Dialga and Palkia are also a part, but at the time there was nothing to indicate that. Use your head. Deathmore, Typhlosion's fine, yes movie 8 is coming on to DVD, but I'd have thought you'd have noticed that we haven't had movie 7 yet. Use your head. And - ahem - "Chrono Mizaki: Mysterious freak =DDDD", considering many, many people disagree with you, I don't see why "the people who make Pokemon" should listen to you. Especially with such appalling grammar. ...I'm annoyed now...

Speaking of the 8th film, there hasnt been any new updates on the DVD release here... o.o

How interesting. The preview poster for this movie shows Dialga and Palkia, but what can that mean? It seems like they're going for an odd continuation of the previous movie.
Angelic Lapras King on Sat 08 Dec 2007 22:39:49 UTC.
I m guessing they re doing a sort of Dialga Vs Oalkia trilogy. The reason I m guessing a trilogy is because I reckon it ll carry on into the 12th film, with the 3 Mews Ripoffs and Mr Pokemon God finally stopping them.

I lost interest in the watching of these movies after waiting ages for the 4th film... And also, my feet stink nice.

The pokemon films are all terrible. Indeed, pokemon on ANY MEDIUM that isn't a games console is quite terrible - and even then, the ones that stray too far from the tried and tested formula are of low quality (Pokemon Dash, Pokemon Snap... Need I go on?) There is no redeeming feature to any pokemon film - it is not a case of 'Well, the first x were OK' or, 'They're getting worse!' - they are all great examples of terrible acting, patchy stories and franchise-milking. So please, can just try to see one of these films without the garishly-coloured lenses of a pokemon fan for once? It drives me mad whenever I ee a news post that goes on about how number x hasn't been released yet in England, or how the Japanese always get to see the films first.
