PKMN.NET's resident happy-guy Alex turns 17 today!

PKMN.NET GM (that's global mod, we don't think he's genetically modified) CS10, or Alex (Alecks if you frequent the chat) turns 17 today, and naturally he's delighted. Always one to say the glass is half full, Alex is a happy sort of chappy, usually always shown with a smile on his face. Turning 17 means he can now drive a car around the country legally, a fact which he described as making him feel "as happy as a daisy swaying in the breeze on a cool summer's day".

Alex loves dressing up in bright colours and doing all sorts of positive things. Just look at his lovely bright red t-shirt below. Doesn't it just remind you of a hot summer, full of fun in the sun? All it's missing is the AIG on the front (Alex Is God, right?). He spends his free time listening to all sorts of fun, upbeat music including the Spice Girls, McFly and the Lazytown soundtrack.

Alex recently turned down the chance to represent Great Britain in the Beijing Olympics, in the Smiling category, citing something about missing the Great British summer weather. His smiling muscles are so overdeveloped, legend has it that on one particularly delightful morning, one single smile as he awoke pulled him straight out of bed.

His presence at the 2008 official site meet in London lifted us all. His positive mood at a time when the rest of us were starting to tire of tales involving books being thrown from windows and admin unrest, Alex pulled the group together with inspiring words of happiness and love. He spoke of feeling "so refreshed to be able to walk the streets of London freely", stating it made him feel "as free and dainty as a newly hatched butterfly, fluttering in the breeze".

Yeah, I said butterfly. Stop sniggering.
