They got the straw idea probably from fairly odd parents when an alien tries to suck out Timmy's brain with a 'bendy straw'

Anyway, I think I was tired today coz I slept through most of Doctor Who (Which I never do coz I'm a huge fan!). Ashamed, I am. Very.

Poor Doctor... he already got Queen Victoria hating him... but yay... interesting way to end the episode xD

did you know the actress who plays Queen Victoria was in Doctor Who in the 60s? She played Samantha Briggs in 1967's 'The Faceless Ones' which was basically about an airport.

How very interesting, I don't suppose any of that footage actually still exists as proof, but still...

I thought it was quite good, I don't know how people in those days would just accept it all as 'special effects' though. I did enjoy it, but I think the ideas of this episode and the ideas of space rhino police and straw killings suck so badly. I love it, I just can't get over how much it sucks.

At last I'm a Forum Addict, you all must now... oh, oh darn. How long ago did that happen?

Actually, episodes 1&3 still exist, but only episode 3 has footage of her. So there's the proof.

Actually here it is:

Utterly brilliant! I loved that episode, I thought the references would get tiring, but they didn't, was pretty good. The pace wasn't as bang on as it was last week, but on the whole, a great episode with splendid acting.

I like Martha... But it'll take a lot for her to be 'better than Rose', in my opinion. She's very different... but it's good different. Much more of the Sarah-Jane Smith about her. :D

GIANT ENEMY CRABS!

You beat me to it! T-T;

Oh well, pretty great episode; the plot built up and ended well, even without a single nasty villain. :)

Not bad this week. Good to see the Face of Boe aswell.

I keep feeling as though i've heard of the Macra. I think they've been in the old series.

Due to some gits being spoil-happy, the official Doctor Who magazine had an advertisement page for new Doctor Who toys, which consequently shown a 'new villain' early.

Spoiler: show

Mutant Daleks, which are green.

I liked the crabs... its a shame the doctor couldnt be bothered to get rid of them... That would have taken a mega plan...

Nah, I reckon they'll bring The Master back. He was cool, and had a Tardis that didn't malfunction.

Pity The Doctor didn't realise he could beat the GIANT ENEMY CRABS by Attacking The Weakpoint For Massive Damage
