I don't think they had the Meningitis jab when I was a kid

I had it, and I'm 25.

I'm pretty sure I've had my meningitis jab too

didn't have TB though, think either the year above or two above was the last to have it

speaking of illnesses though I've got such a nasty cold atm, the only thing still working is my voice and that might go soon =[

Hmm. Why is it that everyone needs it now then?? When I was little my parents got me injected for everything possible - I've even had a jab for yellow fever and hepatitis.

Was the meningitis jab the one that was linked to a terminal disease back in the 90s? Could that be why I haven't had it?

 Fam

Pull out a mono-black MtG deck and be like "ayyyy u ever died of infections?" and then they'll talk to you.

Unless they're the really pretentious "I'm from a rich household and you're a peasant" nerds... then you skin em and wear them like snuggies.

I think if you go to uni now you're supposed to get one for a kind of meningitis that's more common among people living in places like uni halls and stuff? I got mine before I went away. Honestly I'm surprised I don't have an extreme phobia of needles after the amount of blood tests and stuff I got when I was little lmao. Have way too many tiny scars and weird marks from it all.

So today I learned that after I graduate in 2017 my course will be no more. Due to cut backs and stuff and 'low numbers' the uni is going to fit aspects from my course into all of the other design ones. It's a little crap tbh like I probably wouldn't have went to uni at all if I hadn't got into this course. it's one of the few that takes on students with my type of hnd straight into 3rd year, instead of making you do 4 years, even though you're qualified (lol Dundee)!
It's pretty sad

^Because to a lot of the radicals that roam those places (not everyone, just the extremely psycho ones), just being straight and cis is enough for them to classify you as a bigot, even if you're anything but.

I think I have cavities. That's why you brush your teeth kids.

Because there are groups of people that don't get their kids vaccinated. They're stupid enough to think that you can catch autism from it. Now (particularly in the US) there are perfectly preventable conditions coming back and killing/disabling children because they were not vaccinated.

Because I was so ill with my asthma in an urban area as a kid I had all my shots LONG before any of the kids at my school in rural East Anglia did. Some didn't get their TB jab until they were 14.

Blasting some of Green Day's oldies. Sorta miss this stuff tbh. Also wish that Blink and Sum 41 were still around.

I guess we have Neck-Deep and stuff?

ok first of all im a psycho using that word to mean aggressive/unpleasant is :/
second i know some ppl are over the top but when most of our oppression comes from cis straight ppl u gotta understand why lgbt ppl are edgy and hostile towards them
like u can be nice to them but theres like a 90% chance theyre a bigot soooo.

tbh you're more likely to know whether someone is gonna be an ass about someone else being l/g/b/t if you talk to them, instead of guessing it from whether they're cis and straight - though I think you said you had a phobia of men so it'd be easier said than done, right? Then again...with some people you just know what they're like (by just seeing them talking to someone). I'm probs wrong but eh, being corrected means I'll learn...?

Ugh, had 4 bad days in a row before today, and today feels like a zillion times better even though it was still pretty rubbish. Got a form for the college counselor just in case my feelings continue to be horrible, so there's a safety net somewhere.

People with things in common with me are like everywhere at college. And yet I'm all 'i would like to talk to you about the interest we both have but i'm a shy buttcap and don't like talking'. I guess 6 weeks isn't enough for me to start making connections with people, eh?
