I'm so confused the hospital sent me a letter saying that I'm not going to get my eye op within the 12 week waiting time since my last app but I knew that anyway like ??? They said I could contact another hospital in Scotland to see about doing it, which I could do but I'd prefer to recover at home and not while at uni. When I was last there they provisionally agreed to either the 21st of Dec or the 4th of Jan because that's the only time I'd be able to do it. I suppose it's a good thing they're letting me know but still
Might phone them on Monday and just say what dates would be best again. Like I've been waiting almost a year now anyway so another 3/4 months isn't going to make that much of a difference. Stupid eye!  >:(

I've got a compulsory lecture on Monday then a course introduction.

College was great since I was really relaxed and although I would get good grades, I would spend a lot of time joking around in lessons. I spent most of my photography lessons Photoshopping Phil Mitchell and Ainsley Harriot and sticking the images on our display wall and windows.

Anyway, university is a new setting and I can't really be bothered for more icebreakers after the amount of times I did them in college. I think I'm worried that these psychology students are going to be like the psychology kids in college since the college kids (here) had their heads up their asses and were the really weird "I'm a complex puzzle and psychology is my way of understanding myself" kind of kids. It also didn't help that I was in sociology and they thought they were better than us lol.

I just can't be bothered to deal with the whole arrogance and the pretence again.

I go to the new college, and subsequently can't make friends all of a sudden. I bump into someone who is / was an enemy of mine...but now I'm starting to develop feelings for her.

Halp, lol.

I'm not gonna sleep tonight because I move tomorrow & I have about 50,000 things to print like my enrolment letter and halls of residence confirmation.

Also my stuff is very sporadically packed because of time constraints. Gotta travel 2 and a half hours to get to Chelts tomorrow

Uni night one and the smokers have chosen to congregate under my window

My kitchen isn't even worth paying £3 for either

Flatmates are chill though. We're all more casual drinkers and much prefer drinking in than out of an evening.

We also had a real fire alarm because someone burnt toast fgs

Why are these crappy, low-paying, jobs asking for degrees and specialised qualifications lol it's like, you'll see bar work and it's like "oh u need 3 degrees including a ph.d in physics" it's like, get over yourselves, man. You get places asking for degrees whilst paying below average or they're paying like... 12k a year - you could join the army just on your GCSEs and earn more than that.

 It's actually really annoying.
