We'll see about that ;o I'd have returned from the VGC victorious by then, so you'll have to excuse me while I polish my trophy between turns. ;D

[/is gonna be destroyed]
*cough*

I'm sure you mean you'll be polishing /my/ trophy between turns. Because you know, I'm going to win the VGC ;o

I am probably going to be going this year. I will keep you posted~

Updates / UEPC: Wi-Fi Tournament!
« on: July 29, 2010, 18:23 »

That's right, folks. Over at UEPC they're holding a big Wi-Fi Tournament across the whole of Europe! Please note that this is a European only tournament, so those outside Europe are sadly excluded. Sorry!

Why join this Wi-Fi tournament, you ask? Well, that's because there are actual, you know, prizes! You can win physical copies of Pokémon Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver! Runners up can also get special event Pokémon (such as those from the Video Game Championships and some rather nice Shiny Pokémon!). You'll have to battle your way through round after round in order to get there though. So you'll need to gather your best Pokémon to survive!

Where do you go to sign up for this tournament? Well, you'll need to go to the UEPC Forums and sign up for your specific country. There you'll also find the rules for the tournament (or for ease of use, here.)

Sign-ups end on August 8th at 23:59 so get going and get involved! Bring a victory for PKMN.NET!

Random Randomness / Re: PKMN.net Photo Topic 1.3

Yep it's in Laganas. I can't remember which restaurant it is, although it may have been called Michael's Place, but as we went to several restaurants I may be mixing them up xP
From what I can tell it's the same restaurant that I go to every time I go to Zante. Has pictures of turtles drawn by kids stuck to the walls and next door there's a sort of cocktail bar thing with a Pink Panther sign. The only reason we go there is because we know one of the guys that works there, Malcolm. He sends my sister postcards.

I managed to get a decent photo of me and my mum, taken when we were in Zante =]
Am I right thinking that's in Laganas? Because that restaurant looks incredibly familiar to me o.o

Music / Re: Which songs are you currently obsessed with?
« on: May 15, 2009, 20:10 »
I'd say I'm pretty obsessed with:

Never Take Us Alive - Madina Lake

So, we say,
You can't bleed, can't change, can't take us down
(We run this town!)
We'll stand, we'll fight, set fires all night
You'll never take us alive! Whoa-oh! Whoa-oh!
You'll never take us alive! Whoa-oh! Whoa-oh!
You'll never take us alive!

It's so much better now that they have their own sound rather than trying to sound like Lostprophets. I think this song is great. Really suits them.

Repect? I think you missed something. You lose your life.

Literature / Re: What are you reading?

Reading Oath Breaker by Michelle Paver now. Finished Soul Eater last week and Outcast last night. Really enjoying the story so far. Really didn't like Seshru the Viper Mage.. nasty woman. Started to gain some respect for Kin-Fedinn, whom I didn't like at all throughout the first four books.

Harry Hill asked us personally for the part, but we thought he wasn't good enough for the role.

Finished Wolf Brother on Monday which I really enjoyed. I'd like to read the rest, going to get the next two from Kay when I can. Also picked up my Darren Shan books that I've been neglecting for a long time. Let them pile up so I had a backlog of three. Whoops. However, I finished Demon Apocalypse on the same day as Wolf Brother and finished Death's Shadow earlier today in my free at school. Have Wolf Island to read, which I will at some point this week. Glad I've caught up with Grubbs, Kernel and Bec <3

Just finished Abhorsen, which means I've finished the Old Kingdom trilogy. Absolutely loved the ending. Full of excitement. Really liked the series as a whole.

Next on my list is Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver. By the end of the year I'll have probably have read through Kay's bookcase at this rate.

Updates / FILTER

You may now disable the filter. But the rules are still in place for swearing and you must still follow them.

Have fun with your pretty words for your roleplays. ;)

Just finished reading Sabriel by Garth Nix. I enjoyed it a lot; different to what I've read before. I like Nix's style of writing.

Seems that someone doesn't have faith in me. :P

Thanks guys. Been meaning to post in here to say thank you but didn't know what to really say. I know what I'm doing (so people say). So yeah. I'll be working on the Brawl pages for a while, plus looking over the forums to make sure things are in check.

So yeah, thank you guys, you'll be seeing quite a bit of me.

(Oh hey, my name's purple. Cool. Wonder why.)
