Topic: What's annoying you and bugging you at the moment then?

College but more specifically the lecturers, my form tutor had a big rant at me and two of the boys in my class today saying we wasn't going to achieve anything in life because we didn't do the First Aid course today -_-. We literally had no clue about it, apparently they told us in the gym on Wednesday but we wasn't in the gym we we're doing laps on the college track, and when we asked    our class about it they said come in as normal Friday. Seems as if the world if full of people that just want to screw you other!

If you're dead set on applying for an art course of some description then do a portfolio course or a hnc/d (idk what the english equivalent is) for a year because unless your stuff is amazing then you won't get in without some sort of grounding. There's 0 point in wasting the ucas fee if you don't feel ready. I did an nc this year and the amount of stuff i produced and learned is crazy! There's not much point either in doing an unrelated course for a year and then applying next year.
I'm not saying you /need/ to do a basic art course but it helps a lot. If you are doing by yourself then have a ton of variety and draw from life as much as possible. Get some sketchbooks and fill them up. Good luck!

 Thanks for the advice Inferna!  I'm pretty interested in getting some A levels though and then I can build my portfolio since I got a D in art and design.... I was one of the only ones who didn't do Aborigonal(sp?) Art since I wanted a challenge, so a portfolio probably will be required. We've done some artsy stuff in Animation that I was going to add since we're making stop motion puppets with wires and clay and stuff.

 Oh, to keep on topic, I have this money but the inner banker in me keeps saying to save it and I want to buy things.... the spending will be less than the income so there's not as much of a risk... I dunno, I used to be crap with money and I would spend all of it in a day but now I'm too bloody frugal.

This is the most awkward essay ever and it doesn't help that I can't access any of the relevant journals off-campus. I hate writing essays that are longer than 1,500 words, I feel like I'm writing a load of rubbish. Writing 2,500 words on why we can or cannot justify the use of nuclear weapons as a deterrent is the most boring essay ever. And it's my last Philosophy essay ever, too. :|

It feels like I've lost the ability to think in English. I spent the last few days doing procedural programming assignments and now I'm having trouble putting words on to paper for my info systems work. My tutors better not dump all our assignments on us after half term again.

My back is killing me because my darling father and my darling uncles decided to take my brother out drinking last night. So, he got home and threw up all over his bed (ew) and had to take one of my pillows because of this. So now, I'm leaning against one pillow. And it's not fun...

side effects from my tablets are so annoying
i'm yawning constantly, it's really big yawns that make my mouth shake and after i yawn i feel sick
my mouth is really dry even though i just had a hot chocolate and some fanta afterwards
plus last night when i woke up during the night i couldn't get back to sleep. Waking up in the middle of the night is normal for me but i was sleeping all night before i went on the tablets but now it's back to normal sigh
i do feel okay though, i'm much more chilled out and mellow.
