Got an unexpected email yesterday from a guy at the uni's press team wanting to meet with me to talk about my final project!! It was a nice little confidence booster.
I'm just hoping that a little bit of exposure will do me some good.

Ponyta is the only other fire type available in Diamond that's accessible during the game iirc.
From what I remember you can probably play through without a fire type, Gardenia and the steel gym leader (name escapes me) would be easy enough with a flying and ground type respectively. I'm sure Lucario and maybe Toxicroak learn fire type moves??

In other news I bought so much healthy food today and I'm quite proud of myself but am I even gonna get the chance to cook??? I'm on a 4 day bender this week and I'm quite worried about my health

*adult hat on* honestly if you haven't already i'd recommend getting a slow cooker! Mine was about £25 on Amazon and it's pretty great.
Don't know how hungover/able to look at food you'll be but a lot of recipes you can just fire everything in and cook it for like 8hrs and you end up with food with minimal effort! Also good when not hungover and not having to cook after uni.

I managed to make a little augmented reality thing for my project!!

I've been tempted to try order mine online but because my prescription is so awkward I pretty much have to go in store. Saying that specsavers are so much better than my old opticians. I was 13 when I realised that there were more glasses styles than old lady style ones lmao, I could actually get my lenses thinned too!
Bugs me though that according to the NHS website I should qualify for complex lenses (so get a discount) but nah.

My flatmate sent me a huge message on fb because after I have a shower the floor is 'too wet' and that I should leave the door open for the steam to go out (we have an extractor fan). Like is this real????? Messaged him back but it's like talking to a wall lmao.

California is so warm I'm dying here

From one Scottish person to another the heat is awful over there I hope you're surviving, don't do what I did and almost get heatstroke lmao. Hope you're having a lot of fun!

Ive had sinusitis for about 3 weeks now it's honestly the worst. It was getting better last week but now I have constant pain!! Plus my nose is still bunged up and yuck. Honestly if someone came and tore my teeth out it would prob not be as sore as this is

I loved sonic heroes omg. The rail levels were definitely awful! Casino levels were my fav though, my fav team was prob the one with the lizard in it. 10 year old me also used to draw my own OCs of new teams for the game, really wish i could dig them out again but then again not really.

Applied for a proper design job on Monday, heard back today! Got given a task to do, honestly wasn't expecting to hear anything back lmao. Hopefully i can get to interview.

Uni is kicking my ass lol
An actual first world prob: bought some bakery bounty cookies from work but they're like bricks and not nice and chewy :(

So my little sister is 6. She's decided that when she is old enough she's going to move to Edinburgh (like me). She and her friends are going to all stay in a flat together. Not just any flat, oh no! It has to be one with an attic where they're all going to have big white bunk beds and massive windows so they can see outside. She's not sure what friends she's inviting yet but she's working on it.

Guess who finished their dissertation?! It's all bound and ready for hand in tomorrow!!
So relieved but also in a weird void where I'm at a loss because I've been high on stress the past while and it's gone now, which is nice.
Time to chill before going home and then spending the majority of the time incredibly drunk

I can't do sprite art! That's why I'm asking someone else to do it!
Yes I know. they'll have a forum of people who most likely sprite which was why I suggested it.
Honestly try and go through a few tutorials, (there's some in the sprite art forum on here actually) it's quite easy to pick up. Start basic and work your way up to more complex stuff. It's a lot of fun too!

Don't want to burst your bubble but I don't think you'll get anyone here that's going to make them for you. Maybe a few years back you might have but definitely not now! Have you looked into any of the spriting websites like The Spriters Resource? I'm pretty sure they have a forum so might be worth looking on there.

I somehow managed to walk into something at work today and scratch my glasses in the process. Although it's good it never smashed I guess??  I've now got a blurry bit just right at my nose ugh
I'd get it replaced but last time I had a scratch it was going to be £50 for one lens (crap eyes!!) so I may as well fork out and buy new glasses at that rate.
Sigh
