Spent the last three days handing out flyers for the Tories in the general election since mother-in-law is in with them and is helping the Walsall South candidate out.

It's a pain because I'm voting red.

Man I hate flyering too. It sucks cos I work for my nightclub and want it to do well (because if we do well off the flyers I hand out I get a bonus) but if I hand out no flyers I'd get to go home earlier cos we'd be empty and that's the best

the amount of Lib Dem voting nonsense I've received in the post over the past few months for local and general election has been absurd, the one I received yesterday even says he professionally fights injustice, I'm like calm down Batman

got that essay and other bits done, just got diary work to do lmao

I bought a new watch a while ago to replace the one I'm currently using, which has a broken strap. The battery on my new one is pathetic!

On the box, it said that I had to charge it for 2 hours before I could use it, so I did. Apparently, charging it for 2 hours makes it last a week.

But guess what? Charging it for 2 hours made it last.........for 2 hours!

I spent £45 on this piece of crap!

do you actually get the bonus in the end tho or is this just something that is Said? can honestly say that students usually dodge flyer people like they dodge charity hagglers in my experience so id just bin the lot and call it a day.

UNLESS the flyers make good roach material. do they???? y/n??????

Spent the last three days handing out flyers for the Tories in the general election since mother-in-law is in with them and is helping the Walsall South candidate out.

It's a pain because I'm voting red.

you couldn't have been "ill" or "busy"??????? you helped out your own standing MP's number one threat why????????? next time please fake explosive diarrhoea or the norovirus.

so may 4th local elections showed us UKIP is dead and those votes are going p much straight back to the tories. Labour is In Trouble as we know. walsall south didn't have a local election on may so im gonna use the 2015 results here but:

add those former UKIP votes to the tory votes (13733 CON + 6540 UKIP = 20273 tory """"pretend majority""""") and come june the 8th if they can do that for real you potentially have walsall south narrowly going to the tories in what is supposed to be a ~~~~~~labour safe seat~~~~~. i want to be optimistic but walsall south strongly voted Leave in the eu referendum which doesn't bode well as its places that strongly vote leave that tend to go tory in the absence of ukip.

if walsall south turns blue come june the 8th you can proudly say you were a part of that effort. for free n all i take it????? if so then you literally got played by a tory and they are laughing at you as they are wont to be. please dont fall for that again. demand a huge levy to hand out the leaflets next time.

disclaimer: im a bit of a lefty in case that wasnt obvious but for chrissakes please do not volunteer to help out the blue side if you vote red. idk football metaphors but i guess its like.....idk......donating to The bitters when you support......man united. or something. except instead of a boring game of football its the tory party getting even richer.

the teacher checked my papers and on one of them I had to write an essay but I'm lazy and can't write and don't have motivation to anyways so I didn't but he didn't notice and marked it as if I did? And like I could have gotten a perfect score but nooooo I had to be all "honest" and "fair" and there goes a fifth of my grade sure hope you're happy with yourself miss "um I didn't actually do an essay. um. I. I don't have one" that whole "good person" thing isn't gonna get you ungrounded this summer it's not gonna get you into college when you fail because you can't write an essay.

not bein funny or owt but have you had a Specific Learning Disabilities Assessment of any kind yet???????? ive been skimming over a few of your posts and its a ~~~~~~~~~~~Social Faux Pas~~~~~~~~~ to suggest it (im autisitc as all hell so i dont care about that waahahahahaha) but im just Picking Up on a few of the Frustrations i had before i got..........well i mean i got up to halfway through my degree before i realised something was up and Whoops turns out i didn't escape the family curse of Learning Disabilities after all like i thought i did, but you know

anyway idk i am probably being stupid but i was just wondering.

also to anyone wondering (i looked into it myself before i got my nerd goggles) dont bother with an Irlens assessment. if a lens tint of a certain colour helps you read better go for it but the only Scientifically Proven lens overlay that'll do anything is a blue/UV blocker lens and thats actually initially for light sensory stuff/bipolar control/sleep disorders cos it will stop the wavelength of blue light that pulls out the pin that is the tickin grenade of ur body clock. anyway sorry for rambling

i don't use them myself as im ok with light but i have a friend who dissociates n has essentially had one long migraine since her brain stuff started and she absolutely swears by her visor it makes all the difference.

as a side note i am so Unmotivated at the moment which is a Problem because the Not-Gremlin part of me went 'hey u could conceivably get 3 A*s at a level' and has her mind set on it but Gremlin me simply wants to scream and roll around in the mud

No the bonus is real, I've won it two weeks in a row now 😂 Our boss puts a number of stripes down the top of each person's flyers individually and then at the end of the night he counts how many of each different number have been handed in on the door and whoever has the most gets like a tenner

Not sure what you mean by roach material haha explain and I'll get back to ya

Literally like none of the parties for the 2017 election, nor do I support the electoral system. The two main parties leaders are refusing to debate, making a vote for either of them entirely repugnant in my eyes. May has proved to be possibly even less trustworthy than Blair, and Corbyn has so many policies I disagree with so much. Might watch the leader debate anyway just to get more of a view of the other parties, although I feel a vote for them is literally a complete waste, at which point I'd rather just write "AV/PR Pls k thx" on the ballot slip lmao.

(Edit: Took the isidewith test, and got like 57% Conservative, 53% Labour, so I guess I'm for a strong and stable government led by an unelectable leftwing nutjob then? (/s, in case anyone thinks I think like that lmao) Honestly at this point thinking of just going with Corbyn because he'd be the most fun to watch in charge and the policies I disagree with actually affect me positively, I just disagree with them on a moral level.)

In other news, one of my friends is super nihilistic and one of my other friends is really concerned about some of the things they were saying and because I'm closest to him they're like oh you need to talk to him about that and I'm like I really want to be there but that is like the one thing I can't talk about because those sort of thoughts affected me so bad last year and talking about them in any depth will not be healthy for me, but at the same time I feel like I really need to do something and idk what to do, his other friend group are not the sort of people to talk about that kind of thing (they all have a bit of a "fragile masculinity" kinda thing going on) and the other people in the friend group here either aren't that close with him or really hate deep conversations, whereas I'm usually the go to for this sort omg idk

And then in a super first world problemy way, I'm going to Florida on Wednesday but I think I can only take like $100 spending money which kind of sucks, plus I'm missing like the penultimate week of first year which is a bit sad :(

Edit: Add 2 am fire alarms to the list -_-

I'm honestly glad I live in Scotland tbh. May just seems to be royally messing everything up, seems to be taking too much inspiration from Thatcher lmao. Not saying the snp are perfect by any stretch of the imagination but still. Idk if I was in England I would go for Corbyn?

quite a few people would go for corbyn tbh

if things get really bad im going to look desperate but i got scottish ancestry (somewhere way back we had jamaican immigrants marrying scottish landowners) so im gonna claim historical citizenship + clemency and flee north. i will get laffed mos def so i will plead my life and soul to a scotch whisky distillery (any of them wil do, past 10 years the flavour doesnt change much anyway) despite the fact that drinking on my current meds cocktail is more or less Big Trouble.

failing THAT im gonna see if we can get the Socialist Republic Of South Yorkshire thing going again and secede that way all Catalonia-like cos its never been a worse time to be english, im so embarassed.

good. club owners for me just means a dude who goes "welllllll uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" and worms his way out of it cos it turns out he hasn't booked any of the bands or djs or anyone that are supposed to be playing or anything and it turns out all the budget inc pay for people has literally gone up his nose. its kind of an automatic kneejerk reaction for me to be distrustful of them so i do apologise for that and i guess i am glad yours is a bit more legit.

as for roaches......well. hm. well. how can i keep this "puk friendly" so to speak

when people want to make a long cigarette and they dont want to be putting a filter in it (otherwise you'd be intentionally hampering your enjoyment of said long cig) and sometimes you need a particular stiffness of card to roll a little cylinder to put in the end of the cigarette to hold it. the type of card you can use you can ONLY rly reliably find in the rizla cardboard itself (not the little green card bit, thats useless)

but sometimes some flyers for clubs have decent card (its hit n miss, some are too stiff, some are too floppy) and its rly good cos you get LOADS of roach material compared to the tiny surface area of a rizla packet. cos even with king size rizlas it aint a lot of roachable material and you get about a few smokes and you have to go back out for more rizlas which when you're total couchlocked you DONT wanna do.

i dont even Socially Smoke (asthma) so none of this is applicable to me tho ofc (i vape instead lmao)

congrats, your lame protest non-votes means nothing in the scheme of things and this is exactly why the tories will sail in on a landslide. well done. hope you enjoyed using the nhs while it was still a thing, and guess what, you can't complain about it cos you didn't vote!

p.s. no-one cares if you write "av/pr pl0x" on your ballot.

Go to gatorland. I don't care if it's out of your way, go to gatorland.

As for everyone talking about politics, I believe we only have (or had now) one smart person in government (or major organization), Komey. Every time Trump made contact or had a phone call with him, he had a memo. Komey left a paper trail so Trump couldn't just wipe everything about the Russian Investigation away. Now it can followed and the investigation (despite Trump's best efforts) can continue.

My dad's going to be in town (with his new wife) for a week starting tomorrow. Just great.
