I can make bold text on Youtube by writing *like this* but I can't figure out how italicise it.

I've seen other people doing it.
Finally! I get to say this to someone! Use Google!

The first result of typing "how to make italic text on youtube"

I actually tried to once. I got no decent results!

It definitely worked though.

Trying to email my lecturer but I don't want to come off as a pleb. Like, I know what I want to say but I can't help but feel as if my question is stupid aha.

My friend who is profoundly deaf sent me a text earlier.

She told me that she really wishes she could hear, so she could enjoy music like I do.
I can sympathise. I've gone temporarily deaf myself when I've had epileptic seizures before, so I know what being deaf is like.

^Not going to lie, i've never gone deaf like that and that hurt me. I LOVE music and it's a huge part of my life, so I couldn't imagine not being able to hear it.

I covered for someone yesterday and ended up working from open to 30 minutes past close (minus an hour because of 2 half hour required breaks because i'm still a minor). My feet were red and sore when I came home and one of my coworkers was being a complete and total....(well i'd love to put a word here but I can't so fill it in as you please). Not only did she show a half hour late (which she did notify way in advance so that's not a huge issue), but stood around and talked half the time or was texting. Meanwhile went after me when I stopped to ask a manager a question or stopped for a minute or two to chat when we weren't busy and told me to get back to work....even though I had finished my job for the moment and even did the extra cleaning I was told to do already. All of this while she was already behind, then decided to throw in my face that she was being trained up for a promotion. Problems with that include that she actually isn't reliable, isn't being promoted, doesn't do her job half the time, calls off the other half, and when she actually decides to do her job barely even does it remotely correctly so someone else has to come along and fix it (usually me or a manager who already has 10 other things to do). I finished my closing stuff 45 minutes early then the only reason I had to help a little bit with her stuff is so there wasn't another fight between me and her that night (manager would have sided with me if he wasn't going to get in trouble because he isn't technically supposed to take sides like that). After I did some he called me to the office and said since i'd literally worked open to close that I can leave, and I did amid angry glancing from this waste of 8.35 an hour. She was complaining about being there when she was already a half hour late, came in only about 3 and a half hours before close, and I had literally been there since the damn store opened.

Some people.

A customer at work complained to my shift leader that I'd called him darling and I'm like wth I've never called anyone darling in my life lmao, I take it he either misheard or is just being the worst but whatever.

Also dissertations are death; 15000 words is far too long to write about anything.

If they did it in front of others, you might be able to make a formal complaint (provided there is someone higher than him, obviously)

When my missus worked at Matalan someone berated her and made her embarrassed in front of everyone and it turns out you can do that kind of thing. She didn't know at the time.

Bloke was an arsehole though.

A group of students approached me to ask me some questions about China and I'm still cringing from the encounter even though it was yesterday.

Idk, they asked me what comes to mind when I think about China and I said "red".

Trying to find a flat here is Painful:
first one was basically like a crack den compared to the pics - they actually made it worse??
second was nice and prob my no 1 choice just now but the landlord seemed a bit of Work
third wasn’t even where the location said it was so didn’t even view it

Going to view one more tomorrow which is only ‘partially furnished’ so fingers crossed it won’t be too partial lmao. Like I could get an unfurnished quite easily but my job is only for a year initially so not really sure if it’s worth it. It doesn’t help that there isn’t even that many options here either.

Fingers crossed I get something!!

 That earthquake totally distracted me.

Was cool to experience it tho. Unless a nuke went off somewhere, nukes aren't cool.
