So how many shinies do you got and which ones? In total, i've found 4. A Drowzee in pokemon gold, a Litwik in pokemon white, a Metang in pokemon white, a Swellow in pokemon white.

I've only got 3 (Machamp, Quagsire and Gallade) but the guy who runs the Pokemon League I go to has over 200 (it was him that gave me the Ralts). I think he found some kind of formula for using the PokeRadar, and now he knows another one that lets him breed shinies whenever he wants - I would explain them, but I don't understand them in the slightest.

I have (letimatly) obtained 2 (3) shinnies. The first is my charizard, which I bred (so many charmanders!) and the other, by pure chance, rayquaza!
Also, red gyarados and the ho-oh that got away

Lemme see... I have a shiny Porygon-Z I traded with a friend for, a Shiny Pidgeotto that I found in heartgold (That nearly gave me a heart attack when I found her. XD) and I'm borrowing two shiny parents from differnet friends to try for a shiny Duskull.
I once ran into a shiny Zubat, but I killed it in my anger of going through a cave without repels... That was not a good day for me.

I caught 2 shiny Rhyhorn back in Leaf Green (yeah, weird, I know). And then I hatched a shiny Eevee in White. I have yet to evolve it into anything...It'll probably become an Umbreon someday; Umbreon IS the coolest looking shiny eeveelution after all. ;)

If Vaporeon wasn't pink when it was shiny, I'd like it's shiny form much better.
I love how shiny Duskull and Shiny Dusclops look though.

I've actually been quite lucky with shinies, thinking about it.

Beldum from Emerald (which I reset for)
Bidoof and Gastly in Diamond
Suicune and Raikou from the event
Larvitar from the VGC
and then the other day, I hatched a Shiny Litwick - and then two days ago, hatched a random egg from my box outside Dragonspiral Tower, and it was a shiny Venonat! So I'm well made up with that. ^_^

I caught about ten back on Diamond, through a mix of playing a hell of a lot (700 hours so far) and chaining. Off the top of my head, I have:
Shinx
Starly
Mareep
Camerupt
Onix
Rhydon
Electrike
As well as (legit) event Suicune, Entei, Raikou, Pichu and Tyranitar, and (traded, so probably hacked) Eevee and Charizard.
I've also missed a shiny Abra and a shiny Lillipup. So annoying...

About seven without AR and not including event give aways, on a ROM, and the red Gyrados. They are as follows: Nidoran Male, Spearow, and Delibird in Crystal, Onix in LeafGreen, Purrloin and Deerling in Black, Meowth hatched in Emerald, and Roselia and I believe a Pichu in Platinum while in Trophy Garden. Okay so it's nine but am not sure if I really ran into the Pichu as it was about two years ago and I restarted my game. The Roselia I put up on the GTS and traded for something which I forgot I asked for but I restarted my game again and it's VERY likely that the Shiny Roselia I traded online is still out there. I remember I called it "Sparkle."

Zubat on platinum, bidoof on platinum, abra on platinum (platinum is my lucky game) and red gyarados on soulsilver(derr). I lost 2 on black but I can't remember them.

I caught a shiny buizel in platinum while making a poor attempt at early EV training, and today when I was trying to catch a starly on route 201, someone ran into a shiny bidoof! Alas, bidoof is useless, and I am at a loss as of what to do with it. If anyone has a thing for bidoof or whatever, I'll be willing to trade once I'm actually feeling in the mood to put my friend codes up.

YAY LUCKY 8 EVERYONE!!!
for all those wondering, gyarados from Heartgold, machop on the route after Eterna City (forgot name!!! :P) in platinum, charizard was traded from a friend (he wanted my gallade, he couldn't find a male ralts :P), chandeleur in Dragonspiral Tower...haxorus trade from my same friend, but this time he wanted my starter (snivy) cause he chose oshawott, he gave me the shiny axew :D.... the zorua from my breeding, i love zoruas..........zoroark i evolved one of my zoruas into him....and lucky me i got hasty nature with Mischievous characteristic :) yeah and klingklang in a spin trade it was shiny!!!!! :)
I mean the klingklang was a klink egg hatched from the spin trade. And, just looked through a couple boxes, found my shiny Crobat, my shiny scyther and my shiny mudkip (never gonna evolve him) :)

Would have been four if I had more pokeballs in Pokemon Gold (original). So I only have three. (Even though I have both the old and new pokemon gold games, the internal battery has run dry... all of dem memories, gone. Don't care so much for losing the gyarados, but my first level 100 was on there - Meganium! :( )
Here is them all.

- Dustox (Emerald, have no idea where I've put it since.)
- Cherubi (Recent! Black, was a total surprise as I'd wanted a shiny in that area.)
EDIT: I have recently obtained some more because my wifi works now. That includes a Shiny Vaporeon (once an event eevee) and an event eevee (or a shiny eevee, I can't remember).

My first shiny was a Shiny Poochyena but that game got stolen...
I have also caught:
shiny Zubat x2 (No. Chaining. Involved. I legitimately saw and caught two separate shiny Zubat in separate Gen 3 games.)
shiny Shinx x...3 I think?????
Shiny Natu x2
Shiny Whismur
Shiny Shellos
And of course the shiny Gyarados on my old Silver =P
And been traded... Lots. Shiny Eevee, Shiny Vulpix, shiny Ralts, shiny Mightyena, shiny Swablu, shiny Tailow (from LK actually), shiny Numel (from... I think it was Utack and Swampy?). Yeah, I've got a few over the years XD The only one I saw and missed was a shiny Seaking on my brother's game. It was in the Safari zone and fled B[ Curse you, Seaking.

Let's see..
The first shiny I got was a Pidgey in Leafgreen.. It's now Pidgeot, I named it Marahute (Rescuer's Down Under, anyone?)
Next was an Onix in Diamond
Of course, I got the event shiny Suicune and Entei (in both Diamond and Platinum, I'm so pissed I missed Raikou with Aura Sphere and Weather Ball)
Then a little blitzle in White
I hatched a Weezing in white to try Masuda method. It looks awesome. His name is Jupiter.
My most recent shiny was actually a cyndaquil got with Masuda method. Took forever. Very nice red.
Speaking of cyndaquil.. I need some help. He came out with an Adamant nature. He has pretty good IV's (I tried).. but I'm not sure what my options are since his Typhlosion's attack is low, and now his special attack is hindered. Help????
I wanted him to be a special sun sweeper with Eruption, Solarbeam, Focus Blast, and Protect.. But now Idk

I only had 1 shiny wich was 100% lucky it was a shiny moltres in SS! No trade or ar codes just with luck

I one time got a shiny starter but my sister got jelous and restarted my game while I was at my friends house. The game I had was leaf Green my sister has fire red.

And I saw a shiny Geodude but it exploded on me before I could catch it.

I got a shiny Bronzor last Thursday! It was a real surprise after only 521 encounters.

I just caught a Shiny Cottonee in Lostlorn Forest! =D
Hell yeah, it looks awesome. I hope it's IVs are good too, it's my first naturally encountered shiny in a good few years.

I caught a Shiny Drifblim 3 weeks ago--on Route 13 in B2W2.
I was just training and I saw rustling grass. I wanted to see if I'd get something rare to gain off and I was so pissed when I landed a battle in another patch before the rustling one! I said "God dammit!" But then I saw Shiny-female Drifblim and I was glad I didn't reach the rustling grass. I said, "God made me take that back." It was the "highlight" (Get it? Shiny Drifblim is golden) of my day.

Second: Graveler. used Explosion.
Third: Deino. I got a critical hit and accidentally killed it.

RESIDENT SHINY HUNTER reporting for duty. =P
Well, after going through 49-56 second Soft resets, I got a Female Hasty Shiny Snivy after 1,113 SRs! That was a couple of days ago, and I'm currently SRing for Giratina at 5,550 SRs and I'm Random Encountering for a shiny on Route 35. That's currently at 9,400 REs.

I had a shiny Zubat on Ruby, but I barely used it because I prefered the original colours...
And I got a shiny drowzee on SS but I restarted that save.

I ran into a shiny wild Uxie in B2. I just went to the spot and pressed A when the message about a strange presence could be felt and Uxie was shiny! I caught it.

You are lucky, on FR, I ran into a shiny Mewtwo on my first go and caught it.

one of my first shiny pokemon was a zangoose and I had him up until my game save failed and I lost him :(

From what I can remember...
Gyrados (obviously)
Crobat (traded as a golbat from a friend)
Swellow (encountered on my old ruby, which I lost :( )
Tentacool (encountered on my old ruby, which I lost)
Fearow (encountered on leafgreen, still have)
Yanmega (encontered on firered as a Yanma, took about an hour to catch, still have)
Umbreon (event Eevee)
I haven't encountered a shiny (except Gyrados) since Fearow, which was some 5 years ago :dry:. There is one more which I can't remember at present... And I think I had one more shiny on my old ruby which I can't remember...
I really miss that ruby game...

lucky as i was, when i first got pokemon diamond i got a shiny piplup after about the 3rd time restarting it looking for a female starter because w/e
i actually got sapphire later and ran in to a shiny nincada after a while but didnt catch it i dont have the slightest idea why omg.
and the latest one was me going back and trying to replay crystal without crying over the graphics and i caught myself a shiny hoothoot
i actually never went and caught the red gyarados i didnt really care about it b/c everyone had it and im that kind of person
don't evolve the Magikarp!!! I kind of wish they never did red Gyarados... Now shiny Gyarados is worthless...

I remember watching my brother catch a Shiny Pokémon. But it was in Pokémon Silver. And a Gyrados. In the Lake of Rage. Plotline.

You are wrong, in a sense. If you catch your own Shiny Magikarp and evolve it, then you know that the Shiny Gyarados you've got is special and unique, compared to all the freebie Gyarados. It's not worthless at all.

I meant more worthless in terms of trading, no-one with HGSS would really trade anything decent for it. I think shiny gyarados should be different to Red Gyarados...
That, and Shiny Magikarp looks cool ;D

Fair enough, but I wouldn't bother evolving a shiny Magikarp and trading it in the first place.
Whilst I am on this subject, I actually had a Shiny Magikarp flee in the Safari Zone a couple of months ago. I haven't seen one since.

Just caught Shiny Sneasel. And now I have to get tons of battle coins to get a Razor Claw to evolve it -_-

Yeahhh, on one level irony suck about the Red Gyarados. And let's not forget that there was a shiny Magikarp event around the place somewhere too =P But I'm kind of happy with it because of that. It's a special little awesome fail~

Event-wise, I have Pikachu coloured Pichu, the Legendary beasts and Palkia :)

Almond, my Rattata from HeartGold
Fidelis, my Sigilyph from X
Nemo, my Seaking from X
And my Luvdisc from X (I'm having a lot of luck with X, aren't I?)
There's also the shiny Gyarados from HeartGold and the Haxorus from Black 2, (Named Ruby and Axel), as well as the shiny Ponyta I got from a trade in Black 2 (Named Despair, fittingly)
Special mention goes to the shiny Zubat and Poochyena that I missed out on in Ruby.

I'm doing pretty well in Y. I now have Seviper, Larvesta, Absol, Corsola, and some guy traded me a mareep. I'm getting unreasonably lucky.

^I was that way with my first run through of Black. I ended up with a Purrloin/Liepard, Deerling, and another two which I can't remeber right now. I know the one wasn't a Unova Pokemon but I can't recall what it was or where I got it.

In X alone I have Noivern, Togepi, Pansage, Meditite and Bergmite and apparently I have seen shiny Sandslash and that makes me sad because I don't have it

I just bred a shiny Naive Rough Skin Gible on the 2nd egg (using Masuda Method since the Gible mother was Japanese). Unfortunately it was in the early stages of breeding where I was just breeding for nature so the IVs are pretty terrible.

I found I bred a Shiny Frillish a while ago. And Igglybuff.
You can't blame me! They're, what? A shade different from their ususal colours!!
Also bred a Shiny Wailmer, now that was eyecatching.

My fave shiny is my Adamant Cubone with 5IVs that a friend bred for me. It's close enough to perfection : D
I've rediscovered a bunch from previous games that I'd forgotten I had like a shiny Pichu and an 11 year old Nidoran female lol.

Currently on a chain of 40 hunting for shiny Scatterbut, just resetting the Radar now.
But brought my Modest Sync Ralts, would have preferred to grab my Timid one but I got them mixed up and have just realised, ah well.
EDIT: I have just performed the biggest fail. -.- I reset the radar from the very edge of the field and it broke my chain!

Lovely. Should work great with Circle Throw in an NU hazards team with Mega Steelix (like the team I'm working on). I also have a spare Steelix if you need one (31 / 31 / 31 / x / 31 / 0 Sassy and EV'd).

I have two. Red Gyarados from Heartgold and shiny Houndoom from Emerald. Ryujinn and Amber are their nicknames.
