Not so much annoying...more bemusing. The Pope coming to the UK implying comparisons between atheism and Hitler (when he was a member of the nazi youth...should be careful of Godwinning with that bit in your past). Basically seems to have turned his ramblings towards a new scapegoat.

Makes no difference, he's in no place to starting throwing around comparisons to such people, especially when he was part of it (forced or not), he should know better than most people.

You can't blame anyone for being part of the HY. All boys and girls were forced into it? If they didn't join then the Gestapo would have them. Being leader of the Catholic church is reason enough for me to not believe a damn thing he says. The Pope is the epitome of preaching, the one thing I hate the most.

I repeat, my point is that he experienced it first hand, not whether he chose to or not. He would've likely seen the biblical propaganda the nazis used too, but happily skims over that. That's whats annoying.

I got two new hearing aids fitted today... and my reactions to noise have been strange. I was amazed by the ability to hear cars across the car park, amazed to hear squeaky floorboards and bubbling water... I just stopped to listen to everything and it's annoying me.
Oh, and children on buses. School children. Yesterday I had kids throwing things at me and ripping my headphones off my head, today I had children running around me screaming.
