People of the united PKMN.NET
We have, after many deliberations, decided to relaunch a feature that has been part of the site for some time, but had been removed with v9's release. It is back now, new and slightly better.
There's a large help thing included with the feature. You can suggest your own images, and vote the captions of others.
But really, instead of talking about it, just go there now!

Oh, and we've heard that rule 20 left a mark there. I haven't found it yet, but if you spot it, let us know. It might make sense in a few weeks.

It's a new one every Sunday. Surely that should be enough to keep up.
I've fixed the issue with the results for a caption not showing up. In cases like these, you can also use the report errors link on a related page of the feature, as long as you clearly indicate where things are going wrong.

Yeah. That's a point. On the finished captions screens are the numbers by captions according to the score given (as i'd expect) or are they in the order that the captoins were submitted and the ones which were rated positively appear? -Just checking really...

As I said, use a related page. Go back, and click the link on the main Captions page.

No, only images hosted by us are accepted.

They are ordered based on the score given to them in the final vote (so when they are in the third 'stage', as shown on the main caption contest page)

Pretty much, yes.
Basically, you need to be able to refer to it with an URL starting with http://pkmn.net/

No, it must have been uploaded to the site already. Only images you find on the site can be used. You don't pick just any of your own pictures, you use one of the images we have.

What's the URL to the image, so we can check it out? I can't see what's going wrong if you don't tell me basic information like that.

You need to add the URL of the image when suggesting an image. If you can't get the proper URL, it will obviously fail to submit.

And how would I find out about the url?

Right-click on the image and then go to Properties. The URL should be in there. Just copy it and paste it where you want it.
