The rules have not changed. What you can and cannot do or say has not changed. The only thing that has changed is that you can, if you wish, disable part of the enforcement of those rules. This does not happen by default, and it does not make it alright to do those things.

Well I won't be abusing it, but it can be helpful when talking about football, because there could be some "Sc**thorpe" fans out there, as well as a few other words that can be affected by it.

I have a question,  if you can turn off your own filter, would, as persay, someone with it on be able to see the swear or not?
