Tebow release
« on: April 30, 2013, 00:47 »
Tebow was released today, do you think this was fair?

I say no, he never had a chance to play 77 snaps for the season?! Even I admit, he's terrible, but better than my tean's QB Weedan. Come on Browns, this is your chance!

Thank God, now everyone can take the Jets just a little bit more seriously.  Hold your tits though, it's only a little bit.

Tebow is overhyped media trash and he's an awful quarterback (but he could be a good tight end or something, he's definitely athletic).  I don't think any team really wants him simply because of the attention he gets and nobody wants that.  TO and Ochocinco and all those fools were enough.

Tebow will not make the Browns any good.  The difference between his streak in Denver and if he were to be put in the AFC North is that the Browns are the bottom dwellers of the AFC North.  Denver are a top-of-the-line team in the AFC West, because the Chargers/Chiefs/Raiders were awful teams.  That's why Peyton Manning choked in the playoffs; because he wasn't used to actually going against a competent team (speak about the 34-17 blowout as much as you'd like, let's not forget the fact that half of our team was injured and it was our OC's very first game).  The Steelers game was definitely a fluke, because Tebow got absolutely destroyed by the Patriots.  Tebow would not survive in the AFC North.

I don't think Tebow deserves a topic of his own. Whoever signs wants more attention, because SportsCenter is gonna spend a lot of time talking about them. I think he should just go to AFL (Canada) and see what happens.

And it was totally fair, the guys terrible.

Yeah, but the Jets did not really use him at ANY position.

Tebow should not go to the CFL, because the CFL has 15-yard downs and 3 attempts (as opposed to 10-yard and 4).  It's a very pass heavy game over there, and Tebow will actually be way worse in CFL than in NFL.

No, he really just needs to play Tight End or something, he's athletic as hell.

Thats true, but he could also be used as a weapon for the wildcat on a team (like the Jets planned on), so he might have an NFL future.

Nobody uses wildcat seriously in the NFL, nor does he even want to do wildcat

Tebow is now a Patriot and he's being trained as a qb and a tight end

Nope, he was being trained as a Tight End prior to that.  Tebow was signed ages ago, and they actually have quite a few other Tight Ends on their roster that are probably far more competent than Tebow.  Gronk's career isn't over yet either, and Gronk was quite frankly even more of a monster than Hernandez.
