What Pokemon Would You Have As A Pet?

What Pokemon would you keep as a pet?

You can only have one!

This Pokemon won't battle at all!

Keep it realistic! I doubt you could afford the food bill for keeping a Snorlax! Neither could you fit the thing in your house!

Try and avoid legendaries! That kind of ties into the above rule.

Don't how you could break this, but keep it within the site rules! ;)

I'd have a Porygon! I don't have to feed it or anything!

I like Alolan Sandshrew! I've included one in my fanfic! Probably the most modern my fanfic's going to get! :)

Too bad it will only appear in one story!

Alolan Vulpix looks nice too!

What is this whole "Alolan" thing anyway? Is it some sort of mega evolution?

Nah, its just different forms of the same pokemon that can only be caught in alola (sun and moons new region). Theyve all got different types from the originals, so its a nice way of making old pokemon feel fresh again.

Meganium - as a grass type that learns Synthesis, it probably makes its own "food" like plants do. It can also soothe & calm emotions according to the pokedex, as well as revive dead plants - imagine being able to save a spoilt harvest? That would be an amazing business that'd let me spend more time with my Meganium. Could go either down the clinical psychologist route and help people with depression and the like by soothing their emotions, or some sort of crop wizard lmao. Also would teach it Sunny Day, Synthesis, Grass Whistle & Aromatherapy - then it can help me sleep with Grass Whistle, then wake me up and serve as an alarm clock by curing the sleep status with Aromatherapy. Sunny Day is just to have nice weather, and Synthesis allows it to feed itself.

Sewaddle because it is cute and also rather handy. It could help me repair damaged clothing, make interesting new clothes and when it finally evolves in Leavanny, help me cut up fabric.

I think the best pet would be a Growlith because growliths are beautiful and I'm a dog lover. Plus, you would only have to feed them what you feed a dog, and that isn't to much.
I think Umbreon, Sylveon and Eevee are the ideal pokemon because they are amazing. XD

Well dogs can eat a lot. And you shouldn't give them table scraps and some are sensitive to certain ingredients found in dog food.

Clearly the best option is to turn your house into an aquarium. There are lots of cool and beautiful water types, the only real cost is the tanks since fish food is cheap and easy to get your hands on, and since most fish pokemon live longer than a week they make way better pets than actual fish.
