I have discovered one of the most nerve wracking things ever. Final play of the game in madden, a TD wins it for you, you run the ball and fumble it into the endzone, watch it bounce around for about 5 seconds before your RB picks it back up.

Wearing in my new work shoes with slipper socks for tomorrow, because I have a driving lesson when I finish and can't see my boots being deemed as comfy or appropriate after wearing them for ohh... let's say 9 hours.

Also it is likely to rain and be dark. It is my second lesson. Gulp.

Speaking of driving my friend passed his test yesterday, despite not driving for like a year and he just chanced it to try because his theory was running out today sighs. He's so jammy!!!!
Hopefully going to start in the new year but switch to auto? i never struggled with manual but I think it'll give me one less thing to worry about hmm.

I had the dentist today to get a crown fitted. The dentist decided because it was a dead tooth that I didn't need a jag to numb it lolol it was so sore when he was drilling at it. Plus the moulds were awful i was trying not to gag. So yeah my tooth and mouth is still sore now :(

Learn in manual because then you'll be qualified to drive manual and auto, if you do your test in auto that's all you can drive, so it widens your options a little bit.

I dropped the rat treats into their food and had to spend several minutes fishing them out... This comes second to the devastating moment when I dropped a jar of strawberry jam by the tills and stared as it shattered. I'm not even the greatest fan of strawberry jam, having argued with the boyfriend about jam flavours in the aisle..

Ayy how many lessons did it take your guys/your friends to do their test?

I'm trying to figure out how much money I'll have to put away for when I start and some of my friends have done 40 lessons and more  :-/

I'm doing mine in double lessons, and I'm hoping to have a good chunk done by 20 hours, if not completely done by 30. 15 lessons doesn't sound like an adequate amount of time, but we shall see. I have enough money for 15-20 hours, but hopefully when I get paid I'll be able to afford the rest. Gotta get the ball rolling with learning the theory too, but I'm in a new job too, so I've got a lot to learn with that

I have a job in animation, but the longer I sit and think about it the more I want to go back to medical school... but that means more loans to pay off.

UGH.

Fifteen I think. I guess it depends on how quickly you take to it.

so the other day i said that i had to have more fluid and salt intake cause that's what the doctor thinks causes my heart palpitations. i've been on this 'diet' for more than a week, and i've had two palpitations today. really, really don't think it's cause i may have low salt and fluids :/

Ooh, I'm hoping to do my test after my twentieth lesson at the latest then, I enjoyed my first lesson because it felt a little like Need for Speed except I wasn't driving a Bugatti Veyron into oncoming traffic at over 150mph. Might do my CBT before Christmas and get the bike up and running so I can get a delivery job to supplement the driving lessons.

This business going on in France is quite saddening tbh. The second terrorist attack this year with an attempted third about two or three months ago.

All the good student housing is being taken up really quickly and 90% of the flat are unanimous on which house we want to go for etc but then there's this one girl who can't even decide if she wants to live with us or not & if we miss out on a good house (one that is actually a reasonable distance from uni) because of her being indecisive then I'm not gonna be happy.

There's been an attack in a theater in Paris and I feel horrible for the victims and for the fact that I can't do anything to help.

I tried to make a positive step in my life today... but after a series of comments by my friends, I had 2 full-on panic attacks, hurt the cartilage in my throat from severe sobbing fits, and may or may not have lost half of my friend group.

Can we get a do-over today?
