Title: Sandwich Fillings
Post by: The name master on July 12, 2017, 19:29
Kind of a similar thread to the cutting bread sandwich thread. What do you actually put in your sandwich? I usually put jam (strawberry) if I'm having toast I put either butter or jam (but mostly butter lately)

One of my OCs love Peanut Butter And Jelly Sandwiches (cut into triangles without the crusts) Has anyone ever had one of those? Are they nice? I've never had one! I want to, though!

Uhm, usually just ham with some tomato sauce.

i've only ever really liked one peanut butter and jam sandwich before and it was in a baguette made by my pal giulia who made the sandwich then realised she could go home for lunch and offered it up as she wanted pasta

usually i'm very much a cheese gal when it comes to sandwiches - sometimes i add ham and in that case it'll be with a little bit of mayo

when i just have cheddar i won't do mayo and i'll add some nice gem lettuce and some tomato

I particularly like egg, tuna, and chicken salad sandwiches but I love meatball sandwiches the best! I also like pepperoni and grilled cheese sandwiches.

I'd be very concerned if the bread he eats does look like that

Yes. When I chew it.

Since I couldn't find a picture of a guy running from a piece of bread, I had to try something else!

Tuna, wee bit of mayonnaise, (but only a wee bit) spring onion or red onion, lemon juice, pepper.

I'm actually a sucker for those pre-made tubs of sandwich fillings you can buy at shops but the tuna, mayo, and sweetcorn ones are so amazing. Might be Morrisons?

technically a loaf of bread is a sandwich because it's bread between bread

I don't eat too many sandwiches (not counting burgers in this) as i'm actually not a huge fan of deli meats. Usually it's some deli chicken with a good sharp chedder and some mustard, preferably sriracha, though yellow is decent enough.

And a slice of bread folded over itself is also a sandwich, because there's air in between! An air sandwich!

Surely a sandwich is defined by two separate slices of bread? Which would mean, bread, that hotdogs are in fact not counted, im afraid.
