^ yeah, my confession is the last time i played pokemon on a console was like... march or april? i play pokemon red, silver, and emerald on my phone pretty often but i've really fallen out of the fandom. i also haven't even played pokemon X or Y yet even though i know i need to. i agree with you on the site staff part, and even though there's been drama its been mostly smooth sailing compared to what i've seen in brief stays on other forums.

Yeah, they don't have a god complex like they do on other forums.
There was a site in the Flight Simulator community called Project Opensky that made free high quality addon aircraft for FS2004 and FS10. From what I've seen on their forums, they refuse to take any criticism from anyone. One of their staff builds all these flight dynamics profiless based on his limited simulator experience thinking he knows it all and will even refuse to listen to real Boeing pilots who fly these aircraft day in and day out. They delete any post that criticises them and will ban forum members for saying something's not quite right. There was the guy who did the repaints; he was helpful.
The group no longer exists. All the donators pulled their funding when they found out what was going on and they couldn't afford to run.

I'm a recovering shoplifter who has gotten away with the theft of 2 cans of coke, a bag of chips, 2 packets of AAA batteries, at least 25 small chocolate bars and an uncountable amount of chewing gum, breath mints and throat lozenges. These habits fortunately started dying down from the age of 17.
About this time last year I dissociated so hard I ended up walking over the hill into town (about 5km) at 3am carrying nothing but a phone and a pair of scissors.
My long term memory of 2008 and prior is pretty much photographic, but from 2009 to 2014 I have a huge chunk of amnesia and barely remember high school.
I say I don't like homestuck (I still don't read it), but I am a complete and utter sucker for Karkat.
There was a (very short) point in my life where I actually didn't mind PewDiePie or his god awful annoying voice.
I hate furaffinity and (secretly) automatically judge any furry who regularly posts there.
Or uses Bad Dragon. That company can rot in hell for all I care.
I actually do have an attraction to men, it just took me a ridiculously long time to push my gender identity issues out of the way first.
This now means I am aroused at the thought of myself as a man (I mean I am a guy, but only mentally). Like. Wear a binder and swoon in the mirror levels of attraction to man-self.
I won't drop names but ever since I first left the site about 6 years ago, I held deep, petty grudges against certain members which then turned into a crippling paranoia/anxiety/self-berating-guilt about ever running into them again - be it on this site, another site or for whatever reason, IRL. This is why it's taken me so long to come back and to be totally honest I'm still incredibly guarded.

a really bad secret about me is i actively creep on my old best friend from the beginning of high school because i feel like she's been continuously degenerating as a person and it's hilarious to watch her life spiral downwards
(makes me upset that my other old best friend still is close to her even though the downwards spiral best friend was always super mean to her behind her back and i told her all about it but she decided against standing up for the literal emotional torture she'd sometimes be put through...)

I'm guilty of doing this as well.
Except I think they're actually bouncing back really well now? It's more like I see them around the internet and just kind of go "oh hey, that person who used to be really broken has finally come back fighting." And it's like... I'd want to befriend them again but our (my) past keeps me from doing so, because I'm a judgemental person and can't shake off old stuff easily? Makes me feel like a jerk but ehhhh.

I've written nasty messages to people on Facebook saying how I hope they pay for what they've done to me and learn what it is like to suffer. They don't really know who I am since I use a pseudonym. One girl I basically said that she doesn't deserve happiness for all the nasty things she said and did to me and I think I scared her so much that she blocked me.

No. I only message the @#$%^ only once and she blocked me right away. Not like I really care about her because she always acted like she was better than me and I basically called her a @#$%^ and she was no better than garbage to me. And that I hope someday she'll pay for what she did to me.

The last time I found myself creeping on someone, I blocked them. On Instagram I liked her picture since it came up in that weird "suggested posts". I didn't realise it was her since she looks amazing when she wants to. It must have been an older post too, since she blocked me.
Serves me right for cutting off poisonous people when I'm depressed lol.

I am basically an easy going guy and I tend to give people a chance but the people I sent nasty messages refused to even acknowledge what they were doing was wrong on so many levels and one of them actually assaulted me but since I had no proof, he got away with it constantly. I do not easily forgive those who mess with me more than once. If I met any of those people on the street, chances are I'd punch them so hard that they'll know never to mess with me again.

i never go to bed earlier than one am. these days, i never actually fall asleep until 2 am.
then i wake up at seven. and somehow function really well. le shrug.

My sleep pattern is so bad I went to bed at 6am and woke up at 8:30 on a college day. Then caught a 45 minute bus into town at 12, started class at 1pm and got home at 4:30. Stayed up until 5am again last night. And now it's 11:30am and I woke up staring at this thread.
After doing this four days in a row I think it's a sign.

I have mild-moderate OCD, but it's mostly isolated to my personal spaces and things. I also have severe anxiety, severe depression, PTSD, and body dysmorphic disorder.
It's caused issues in relationships before, but only the people worthy of being with weren't complete butts about it.

More secrets? I'm lactose intolerant, but apparently only a little bit??? I can still drink coffee with regular milk, and I can still eat a cupcake, but I cannot have coffee with milk and a cupcake. I can either have the coffee or the cupcake- both means an unhappy tummy. I can still eat cheese and yogurt, though. (Both have less lactose than milk)

i once knocked myself out on purpose to avoid doing something i didn't want to do, but i did it by a flight of stairs (bad choice on my part) and ended up in hospital because i kind of immediately fell down the stairs whilst unconsicous and ended up with a concussion and a cracked rib
yes, i would do it again. that was awesome.

Sometimes I like to eat butter plain. I've always done this as a kid but now I will eat a tiny chunk usually the size of a pea or a single pat. Before that, I'd run my finger through the stick and lick my finger and do it again.

As a child I would always sleep facing the door so if any gnomes came into my room to kill me, I'll see them and fight them off but then it became a habit to sleep facing the door.

I often make Natalie Portman Sims and then trap them in tiny dark windowless rooms with nothing on it and wait and see how long it takes for her to die. The current record is two weeks in game time.

I sneak a can of 7-up or other assorted soda into school everyday so I can have it during lunch. One 8 fluid ounce carton of milk isn't enough with how dry the food is. I might have to sneak in some seasoning or something.

Nobody can survive on those portions with the tiny apple that you're required to get with your lunch. I'm in college now and can just eat whatever I want but I still get mad at how much worse Michelle Obama made my lunch at high school. I think it was a conspiracy to get kids to pack lunch because that's better for them anyway.

My school had a soda fountain and different stations where you could get what you wanted including a grill used primarily to make a fresh Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I always got that with the extra fee for peppers and onions.

We got served chips, hot dogs, turkey twizzlers and chocolate in secondary school. Then Jamie Oliver came along and got the government to serve healthy school meals. They agreed.
School dinners were instantly made better. No excessive salt, little grease and it actually tasted of something.
I guess that's a secret- I preferred school dinners AFTER Jamie Oliver got them changed.

oh, and i'm really loving depressed!sans (undertale) fics atm. i'm a monster. but man it feels good to read sans getting hugs and love from his bro and everyone. i miss that.
edit: also in response to the meals thing; turkey twizzlers were literally the only good thing in primary school dinners or our school. it was ver underfunded and they spent most of the funding on repairs, redoing the main hall, or on PE equipment, so we either got tellytubby custard (EUGH) or chips or peas and... that was pretty much it. so when oliver got rid of twizzlers, what did my primary school do? only removed twizzlers and didn't add anything in. so i stopped eating school dinners for the next 2 years. high school had good food at least. i'm not even usualy a picky eater, it's jus that my primary school had gross meals

Anyway, Michelle Obama really just wanted the program so she could scale down our obesity crisis because obesity related problems are a huge weight on the universal health care that we're trying to get here.
Luckily my school was semi-private so sometimes we'd have a grill running that would make you hot chicken pasta bowls which are the only food from high school I miss.

If I remember correctly turkey twizzlers where just big bits of turkey in breadcrumbs but in this sort of... spiral shape. A bit like deformed chicken nuggets. And they'd probably never been near a turkey.
I suppose this is where I admit that I never ever ate at school because I lived so close to my primary/secondary schools that I'd just go home and lunchtimes, or when I was older I'd just go to the shop for... a pie roll and tomato sauce. Mmmmmm. Or down the chippy for a chip roll and gravy. Aaaaaw yiss. I have no school dinner horror stories to share, just memories of delicious crap from other places.

There's 2 great school meals, and the rest are ok at best. The best two are popcorn chicken bowls (popcorn chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and corn if you request it) and bosco sticks (breadsticks with tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni) with marinara sauce. Those are the only meals that are really good at my school, portion and tastewise. (maybe we should make another topic for this...?)
As for secrets: I've had a number of colleges sending me stuff about possibly trying to recruit me for academics and stuff like that.

I don't think we ever got them in school? We had other culinary delights like 'cheese envelopes' aka puff pastry with cheese in it. After Jamie done his stuff the school dinners were rubbish, well at least in primary. I used to love the semolina they did but then they took all the sugar out of it. I remember as well up until like p4 we had to ask if we could 'turn our plates' and eat our pudding!
Secondary was alright, I actually had more school dinners in sixth year than I did in first lol, the novelty of going into town for a chippy or up to morrisons had worn off by then.
It was always the best when I got a pie from morrisons for lunch and the queue was massive, my granny would let me and my friends skip the queue haha. Also she sometimes used to put a label of a cheaper pie on. They don't do that now though it's all self service :(

College was pretty good with food too and very little of it was healthy.
The roast beef flavour Aldi Monster Munch are pretty fantastic in comparison to the legitimate product. Tastes a little like beef, Yorkshire puds, and gravy.
Comprehensive went downhill after we left and college did the same.

I think it is a product of Hollywood to make us feel bad about ourselves because they aren't perfectly white and straight just like how they try to make us think that being as thin as a twig is good or men must have perfect abs to be well liked. I just gave up trying to live up to standards that I know I can never achieve without suffering greatly somehow. And if people don't like me because my teeth aren't perfect then that shows how shallow they are and don't care about personality.
I also don't think communism the idea is a bad thing in it of itself but just would never work as such a system cannot have someone who isn't a leader which defeats its own ideals. I also think animal testing isn't such a bad thing for certain products when certain limits are put into place.

techncially you don't need to use toothpaste - you only need to brush to stop the plaque build up - but if you dont use tooth paste you still need to use something along those lines to make sure your breath doesn't freaking stink. you could prolly get away with sugar free scented gum, probably, but toothpaste is just the easiest way.

If I did, I'd have been locked away years ago. It's more of a way to vent a lot of anger for me. I usually have revenge thoughts but I just let karma do its thing because the people who have offended me can always fight back if I attack them, they can't fight karma from striking which is actually the best way to get revenge.

My guilty pleasure is popping bubble wrap until there are literally no bubbles left. I often jump on top of it to get them all. I also like paper shredders because I like watch the paper being ripped to shreds.
