I know there is one at the bottom but I think it would be a bit easier if you had like all online member on a list on the right side, and it had there pictures next to there name too.

Good idea, but they can't just go "Poof!" and something's changed. Who knows though, maybe someone will listen...

Aww, don't be like that. I was just trying to make a noob feel welcome and accepted. Personally I'm fine the way it is.

^I prefer not to use noob as it make people seem snotty and elitest. How about newcomer?

Anyways, although it's great in theory, it would likely take some time to code and implement. Plus i'm sure many people are fine with it the way it is.

I agree it would be cool but that's something you should be forwarding to Joeno - he knows exactly what is and isn't possible with doing that.

I imagine it'll slow things down too much though, so you may regret wanting it after a bit.

A few issues:

1. This would take up screen space and make posts unnecessarily smaller. Not a problem on your PC screen maybe, but it's a concern for our mobile users.

2. The forum code is difficult to mod, and the online list is set up in a way that makes it even more difficult. There are reasons for it, mostly to keep them running fast, but it makes changing these things difficult. At the point where that list is being build, the name, colour and profile URL are (I believe) the only things we have. We can't change that without slowing down the forums.

3. We only have big avatars for pictures.

4. I don't see why we need it.

That last one is especially important in warranting me spending time on these things.

Yeah, you're right.

Yeah, he's right. I tried to explain this before.
