I was beat at chess by my dad, which happened after he said "I think I know where this game is going! It's deadlock!" (Which means stalemate) He checkmated me beeteewn his king, pawn and castle and his knight (I think!)

He tricked me!

Why do I have such a mean father?!

We're going to play monopoly later!
Thanks to Inferna for one of the many reasons why I love Dragonite!

This essay is 1,200 words on intelligence and I'm really getting into the swing of things and that's awful because I'm not going to be able to use journals for this and I'm only using one book and lecture notes as slides.

I inadvertently picked the easiest question.

 It's a little annoying.

Same :( I'm drinking my personal recipe for a feel-better drink which is half blue powerade and half water. I don't know what it is but if I start drinking that stuff with every meal when I start coming down with something it clears up in a day or two.

My allergies are acting up, I have a cold sore (again), and I still have to finish Wuthering Heights.

I applied for volunteer work in Sri Lanka over the summer and it turns out that it's really expensive.

Gonna have to postpone this or call it off completely unless I get this Christmas job. Shoot me.

I got fired from my seafood restaurant job for basically telling my boss to frig off. He was sitting on his phone my entire shift while I was cleaning and doing busy work because nothing was happening, then I went to check my phone and he yelled at me for it and I basically said he set a terrible example for a boss because he's never not on his phone and that didn't sit too well

^ Reminds me that me and the guys haven't been to Wind Street in about two years.

That place is magical if you arrive drunk and Jagerbombs are like £1 on student night.

Wind Street is not all its cracked up to be, so glad I don't work down there any more...

I've done about 75 hours over the last 8 days, 18 more over the next two days to go...

Well did she make you cry? Make you break down?
Shatter your illusions of love?
And is it over now? Do you know how
To pick up the pieces and go home?

Some mom on the girls team (who has had a bad track record with the coaches) encouraged her daughter (with threats) to attack a few of my friend's on the girls team, and then got the rest of the team to continue to attack them. This same mom gives everyone hell for everything they do and i've had about enough of it. If I can't hit someone, i'll just sharpen my wits and show no mercy on Monday.

I wish I'd get word soon of my eye op, my last letter was in September saying about phoning if I wanted to go elsewhere in Scotland as I'd passed the 12 week waiting time. When I had my last appointment I think a date in December or January was provisionally agreed but I've not heard anything since! I don't know how quickly after you get word is the time between getting an operation?? The only other date I can do is February as I've got a week off work then so I'd be able to go home. There is an eye hospital here but I would rather be at home and relax than get stressed out because I'm not getting any peace.
Might phone them up today lol
