currently reading
The Hidden City by David Eddings
A tongue of flame, a breath of air, Mountains high and oceans fair.
A world so bright, yet darkest night, lurks just beyond the verge.
Where light and shadow merge.

Soushisouai Note.
It's advised you don't google this up.

You don't really read that, though, do you? I mean, its literary value isn't that much...but as for other values... ;D

Actually, if you read it in original Japanese (like I did) the story with that older stalker woman is pretty interesting in terms of how the guy talks.

Ooh, lovely stuff (you being able to read Japanese, not the older stalker woman). Ya talking about the guy who's constantly using the polite form of words in conversation with the woman, right?

Currently about 2/3rds of the way through Nation by Terry Pratchett. Then I'm moving onto The Bodies Left Behind by Jeffery Deaver. I'm currently reading about 3 books a fornight which is the most i've done in a long time!

OMG.. Jeffery Deaver. Now there's a name I've not heard for a while! I have the Bone Collector at home. Whilst detective books aren't really my thing, I really enjoyed his work.

I'm still reading the same books, i'm afraid D=

Well did she make you cry? Make you break down?
Shatter your illusions of love?
And is it over now? Do you know how
To pick up the pieces and go home?

Although it is going awfully slow, The Cry of the Icemark (Stuart Hill) still caught my attention. Maybe the evil general Scipio will come again.

A half-blood of the eldest gods shall reach sixteen against all odds
And see the world in endless sleep
The Hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap A single choice to end his days
Olympus to preserve or raze

I've been reading my AS PE and Business books to read over work from the past and to go ahead since me not being at school today has probably put me behind. I've gone over some new stuff, so hopefully I won't be too far behind in the next A+P PE lesson (it's split up into Anatomy & Psychology, Socio Cultural Studies and Acquiring Movement Skills) and the next Business lesson.

I have the Bone Collector as well, I read it a long time ago. TBH, I didn't even realise it was the same guy until you just said :P Made me get up and check the bookcase xD.

Yup. Because the gap between colloquial (co-lol-quial, amirite?) and formal language is much smaller in English than it is in Japanese, it's a lot more interesting.

Also reading now; Hayate No Gotoku. At a first glance it seems like it would be my perfect sort of manga, but the storyline is too heavy for my likings.

I am currently reading 'My Life In France' by Julia Child.

It's an autobiography and I am loving the writing style. Her wit and use of words are really pulling me in

All three written by William Sleator.
