^I just wonder if Rich actually let you become his evil twin.

I don't think people get much choice on the 'having an evil twin' front, sadly.

I've been playing Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones as of late. I'm enjoying a lot.

Adding someone to your ignore list will somewhat hide their posts, in that you'll still see where the posts should be but you can't see the content unless you hit 'Click here to see post.'

I'd rebreed. The HP, SAtk and Speed are all great but slowbro really wants the defense/special defense.

quadrilateral

Not as difficult as it first seems, especially considering the backspace key is really easy to get with your elbow.

General Pokémon Discussion / Re: Magikarp's Awesomeness
« on: September 03, 2011, 18:13 »
I have to agree with Alpochio here. Magikarp is pretty bad and Feebas is very slightly better. Let's compare:

-Stats: Magikarp and Feebas's base stats are very similar: Magikarp's are 20/10/55/15/20/80, and Feebas has the same, apart from attack and special attack are swapped and defence and special defence are swapped. Magikarp has no moves to abuse its higher special attack from, and electric and grass moves are usually special, so Feebas's higher special defence is slightly more useful, although, neither can really take a hit.

-Abilities: Both get Swift Swim, but in the DW Magikarp gets Rattled, and Feebas gets Adaptability. Rattled only activates after Magikarp takes a hit and bug, ghost and dark moves aren't too common. It could abuse this by switching into a bug, ghost and dark move, using a focus sash to survive and attacking with flail, but that requires no entry hazards and flail doesn't hit ghosts, which are the main users of ghost moves. With base 10 attack, it's not going to be doing much damage anyway. Adaptability gives Feebas double power water moves. Again, it's not going to be doing much with such low attack and special attack, but it's useful in more situations.

-Movepool: Magikarp only gets Splash, Tackle, Flail and Bounce. On the other hand, Feebas gets Splash, Tackle, Flail, a bunch of egg moves, a few tutor moves and a few TMs. Although feebas's movepool would be considered small compared to a lot of pokémon, it's much larger than Magikarp's.

Magikarp looks cooler though, so I guess it gets that.

I bought Space Pirates and Zombies today, and I'm really enjoying it, although I really need this mothership upgrade so I can progress but the mission is ridiculous.

I've also been playing Team Fortress 2 on and off, and a bit of Black (although not much as the RNG is messing with me) and SSFIV3D (although I really, really suck. :D)

Other Games / Re: Pokemon Tower Defense

Rich convinced me to play some today. I stumbled upon an interesting glitch where levelling up my squirtle didn't seem to do anything, it wouldn't gain moves or anything and nothing seemed to happen but if I hit done it would be levelled (but without any new moves).

The next time I levelled squirtle I had forgotten about the glitch, and as it didn't do anything, I clicked it four times. I went out and found my squirtle had jumped from level seven to level eleven and I was on -152 pokédollars.

Rich suggested I did the challenges. I did, and when I reached the third challenge, I had messed it up. To try and repair the damage somewhat, I tried to level Golem.... only to find the levelling glitch still worked. Assuming that the challenge's budget was completely separate to the normal budget (it made sense to me, as I wasn't using my pokémon), I preceded to bash the button. I ended up with a level 151 Golem, and I easily won the challenge... only to find after I beat the challenge I was 55,205 pokédollars in debt. :(

Nidoran-M - #032 (Timid) : 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 31
Hustle

I think I've got the hang of RNGing eggs now. It's an awful lot easier than breeding :D

That's very nice Rex. Shame about the HP, but otherwise that's great!

I think Will-o-Wisp, Toxic, Protect and Flash is your best bet.

I think Scald / Wisp / Recover / Taunt, or if you'd rather have more attacking options, place shadow ball over Taunt.

Yes, ditto is useless, sadly. However, it works with any suitable male that isn't ditto (for example, male braviary + female DW tailow works). So really, it's only the male-only species and genderless species that can't pass down.

EDIT: Also, I'm fairly sure it's 60% inheritance, but I could be wrong.

Pretty sure egg moves only pass down from the father, so that wouldn't work.
