E3 2014
« on: June 09, 2014, 16:48 »
E3 starts in like 45 minutes (if you ignore the Microsoft Preshow, which starts in 15), so I thought I'd throw down a topic for discussion!

I'm gonna miss the first hour of Microsoft's Conference, but when I get back I'm gonna start updating this post with everything that gets announced, and then I'll try to go back and update everything I missed when I have a chance, for those of you who don't want to watch live.

get #hype

edit: nvm i can't be bothered to post everything they announce but damn there's some cool stuff why aren't you watching

My mom bought me this new laptop and it gets really hot when the chat is being spammed. Now my leg is starting to hurt because it is getting so hot. Please, if you don't want me to get burned, then don't spam the chat.

There's some interesting stuff, but nothing that really affects me much. Nothing quite there yet to sell me a new XBOne. And if there's no final fantasy or kingdom hearts 3, I could probably hold off from buying a PS4 as well. Looking forward to the Nintendo presentation tomorrow, though. ( or was it wednesday?)

I thought the Microsoft conference was fantastic, the Halo Master Chief Collection and the new Crackdown look sick, I want an Xbox One pretty badly now. Project Spark still looks cool, and the Fable thing looks like it might be fun.

EA was kind of lackluster but Star Wars Battlefront #hype

Ubisoft about to start, should be good hopefully, and then Sony tonight at like 2am, and then Nintendo tomorrow at like 5pm. Good times, I love E3 time.

from what I heard about Microsoft's (thanks Del) it seems pretty great, really tempted to get an Xbox One eventually (especially as apparently KH3 and FF15 will be available on both systems?)

Idris Elba on the FIFA Trailer too >>>>>>>>>>
Idris is so cool

Ubisoft started out so bad but damn did they do good towards the end, The Crew looks sick, Assassin's Creed doesn't look as bad as I expected, The Division STILL looks hella sweet, and damn THAT NEW RAINBOW SIX THO?

So hyped for Sony at 2 now.

I mean the microsoft presentation was good but I wasn't into any of the games.

I think Ubisoft started off really well with the Far Cry 4 intro, but it kinda fell in the middle. I really like Assassin's Creed Unity, looking forward to the more city based free-running rather than the more boring countryside in 3. Looking forward to playing that Rainbow Six with my friends as well.

EDIT: Well TBH I personally prefer CS:GO, but I don't know if my friends are into it or not.

Leaked list of all Nintendos announcements and stuff is interesting:

Super Mario Sunshine HD sounds like it'll be good, and the inclusion of Skylanders-esque figures in Smash is certainly an interesting gimmick.

Will have to wait and see if they prove true, as I believe Nintendo is on later today

The New Rainbow Six and Assassin's Creed are all that's stood out for me so far.

Oh, and GTA V on PC.

Reminder that Nintendo's E3 Direct starts at 5pm GMT. Looks to be approximately 47 minutes along according to the card on stream right now.

Hope it's good, even though it's gonna easily be the shortest of the conferences (even if this isn't really a conference).

Yoshi's wooly world looks pretty cool, SSB is going to be amazing on Wii U, new Zelda game looks like something I might buy even though I don't like Zelda xD

ORAS gameplay looked pretty awesome, as expected, Groudon and Kyogre looked pretty damn cool =P

Nintendo. \O/

I haven't seen any livestream bits but:

- AS/OR look amazing, Yarn Yoshi looks cute and that Kirby game looks cute too.
