General Pokémon Discussion / Re: Least Favorite Pokemon

Wishing they could be the machop line I imagine.

I can't stand pignite or emboar, they really butchered that line, tepig had such potential. I agree on the ice cream line being cringe worthy also. Diglett has a bit of a crappy lazy design too.

DONT YOU TALK SH*T ABOUT EMBOAR! I don't care if its butchered, hes frickin' BADASS!

1: Muk (Gen 1's Garbodor, just crappier. Its a blob of goo. Enough said.)
2: Unown (Only gets two moves, Hidden Power and Psychic. NAAAAAH just kidding. It doesn't get Psychic.)
3: White Kyurem (Perfect example of over designing. We have spikes, wings, tusks, claws, pointy things and this generator butt.)
4: Lickilicky (Just, WHYYYYY?)
5: Vaporeon (The biggest piss-taker in battles to date. I have been swept many times by it.)

Fake Whatever / Re: New Scrafty Evolution?
« on: July 29, 2013, 17:05 »
I understand that the stats need changing. I could make it so it evolves from Scraggy if you level it up with the metal coat. Otherwise, it ends up as Scrafty. Scrafty would be the better attacker, whereas Scrapunk would have the better defensive stats, being a steel type.

Scrapunk are very tough pokemon to control, and are frequently known to rebel against their trainers or any authority for that matter. As well as the many tricky dark moves and powerful fightning attacks it could learn before, it can now learn steel and poison attacks, not to mention sound based attacks too.

I personally would welcome this new evolution. So far, it is just a fakemon evolution I found on Deviantart. Frankly, this is one of my many hopes for Pokemon X and Y.

Infernape doesn't learn Wild Charge.

My bad, I meant to say Thunder Punch. I'm getting it confused with Emboar.

1432
Infernape (Male) - Havoc
Emboar (Male) - Ganonpork
Floatzel (Male) - Jet
Chandelure (Female) - Soul Eater
Blissey (Female) - Ruby
Garchomp (Male) - Carnage
Blaziken (Male) - KFC
Giratina (Origin form, genderless) - Creeper

1433
Blaziken has been my bro ever since I evolved my first Combusken atop Mt. Chimney. I love the way he looks, I love his power, I love his typing, I love his movepool... I love everything about him. I was there through third gen when he had fans simply because they had him in R/S/E, I was there when they all abandoned him in fourth gen when people flocked to the abomination pokemon. And now I've been here through 5th gen when people have jumped back on the bandwagon just because Blaziken got Speed Boost. Well I'll tell you who used him in 4th gen OU battles. This guy right here.

To be entirely fair, Infernape has a good movepool. It's got practically every type of move, both boosting moves and even a recovery move (not that it matters, Infernape's OHKOd by practically anything), but it's really not a good Pokemon in this metagame, and I find that /hilarious/. Rain cripples one of his STABs, while the other is easily resisted. It needs sun support, which is nearly impossible to keep up in OU if you're against an opponent with a well structured Rain team.

No matter where the future takes Blaziken, I'll be there.

I have gotten an Infernape sweep against a rain team before, mainly because Infernape knew Wild Charge and Grass Knot. I outsped the Pokemon with swift swim with a bit of help though, a Ninjask with Speed Boost and baton pass.

You're banned for hating on Infernape in that post I read earlier.

1437
Every member of my Black team is a fighting type, and I have won many Monotype tourneys with them, so I guess a gym leader. My team is Infernape, Emboar, Gallade, Scrafty, Conkeldurr and Breloom.

1438
1: Havoc (Infernape)
2: Ganonpork (Emboar)
3: 'Murica (Braviary)

1439
But can it take a hit? No it cannot. - You need a focus sash for it to survive any kind of powerful move.

That is true, but few Pokemon outmatch Infernape's base speed stat. I agree that focus sash is one of the best items for Infernape. Infernape can use Swords Dance, get hit, survive and then use the doubled attack to sweep. Although Flare Blitz is flat out suicide. Infernape is designed to attack with huge power before the opponent can attack.

And please excuse the massive signature. I have no idea how to put an image into it.

1440
I would choose fighting. I have won more than a few Monotype tourneys with these. Fighting has powerful moves, five strengths and only two weaknesses. It can bat the highly defensive Steel, we get the almighty fire/fighting warriors, Blaziken, Infernape and Me, Emboar.
