Your favourite movie soundtrack.

So many good questions to ask, so little time.

What's your favourite movie soundtrack?

At the moment I'm in love with the The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack and the Raiders of the Lost Ark soundtrack

but my favourite is the ever immortal Harry Potter Soundtrack.

The Commitments. Bringing Soul to Dublin~~

Or perhaps The Lion King, or Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy.

Well did she make you cry? Make you break down?
Shatter your illusions of love?
And is it over now? Do you know how
To pick up the pieces and go home?

Two favorites I have are Top Gun and Flashdance. They contain some of my favorite songs! The original Fame, Grease, and Saturday Night Fever soundtracks are great too but I only own Fame.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind springs to mind. Jon Brion is a genius.

this is a GREAT thread! a little off topic, but my favourite TV soundtrack is definitely the OC. it turned me on to a lot of alternative music which i now listen to and cherish.
in terms of movies... well, i really like the friday night lights s/t, which was curated and put together by explosions in the sky. even own it on vinyl!
better than you, est. always

Not an original soundtrack but 500 Days (of Summer) was great for the film =]
