How so?  He got the same 9-7 record two years in a row - the difference is that this year 9-7 didn't let him go to the playoffs (and he was against arguably tougher teams too) whereas last year 9-7 allowed them to win the NFC East.  The three years before that were 12-4 (lost at home...  because as we all know Giants play their A game at home right????), 8-8, and 10-6, with the latter two not allowing them to qualify for playoffs.  Giants have never been a consistent playoff contender and even then, their forte has always been away games.

I think he's just a step below elite, but if he gets a nother ring, youd hae to say hes elite

Based on rings, he has more than his elite brother, Dan Marino, etc and he was Super Bowl MVP both times

Based on his actual performance, he's not elite because he was never a dominant qb.  He's missed the playoffs loads of times and through fault of his own - sometimes he's brilliant and sometimes he's poor.  Once again, same category as Joe Flacco, will not be revered as a legendary quarterback like Brady/Manning/Favre/Marino/Unitas/Montana/etc were or will be.  But he is, in today's game, a top 10 qb.

Hey, he's getting old, I see 10 win tops this year.
Brady was around Eli's age when he went 18-1

Peyton was around Eli's age when he won a super bowl and Peyton was planning phenomenal despite being 37.  Age doesn't matter much.

Peyton and Brady are still dominant qbs and they're 37 and 35 respectively.  "Getting old" means little for a passing qb.  Considering 28 is Flacco at his supposed prime, 3 years is hardly much of a difference.

11-5 and 12-4 is not what the Giants tend to do.  They enter as a wild card team and cruise through the playoffs.

Ok... they will be a wild card, but I just don't see above 10 wins, Redskins will dominate this year as well.

Lets talk about the NFC North guys.

I see the Packers wining again, but the Viking will make it hard.

Still off, and missing my point.  My point is that Eli isn't getting worse with age nor is he getting old.  He just plays inconsistent and cannot be elite as a result.  The rest were just proof of such things, and how the Giants kinda stay stagnant and get a hot streak every once in a while.  Maybe they will make the playoffs this year, maybe they won't.  I just know that they dominate in the playoffs and they are a great away team.

Both North divisions are going to be fantastic in 2013 and it'll be interesting to see AFC North vs NFC North.  Maybe the Lions will finally patch up their crappy defense to make way for their explosive offense, seeing as they've got a great running game compounded with a fantastic Drew Brees-like passing game on offense.  Except it's their WR that makes it so great, and not Stafford.

Vikings, Packers, and Bears will still be good.  Bears will have a decent offense (I hear Jay Cutler will have an O-line this year) compounded with a solid defense, Packers will have Aaron Rodgers leading the offense, and Vikings may be the bottom feeders come the fall time.  Granted, they finally have receivers and they play very well against their division, and their defense isn't so bad, but who knows how healthy AP can stay and who knows how long he can continue to dominate?  Running Backs have the lowest career lifetime of any position in the NFL.

The AFC North is not hard to figure out:

1. Ravens
2. Bengels
3. Steelers
4. Browns

AFC North is up in the air this year.  Bengals could take the division and the Steelers are looking scary again.  Ravens have fixed many of their problems from 2012, and the Browns actually continue to improve.  I wouldn't be surprised if we see another year where 3 AFCN teams hit the playoffs, and the order is up in the air.

That's my prediction, but anything can happen, I would love for Cleveland to come in as at least a wild card, but I don't think that will happen.

Give weeden some time, and the browns shouldget in

On a side note: from time to time, people think the redskins should change their name (something about racism I think??)
How do you feel about the name 'Redskins'??
