my dream? i dreamed i was awake and it was weird

has anyone ever 'dream within a dreamed' on here? its weird. so weird. ive come out of one dream to wake up and then realised that actually im really asleep still because suddenly im flying and the walls are imploding and my dog is speaking german again and then i wake up again on the floor

and does anyone lucid dream? ive started to be able to - not completely though because i deliberately let my mind take the reigns sometimes so that i can have a breather.

 I used to do it quite often!

 Pretty sure there'll be guides on reddit since they have a sub for almost everything.

 The only time I've ever done anything cool was when I turned into an animal though. Most of the time it's just to observe and explore possibilities within the dream itself.

 That sleep paralysis is pretty strange too.

i lucid dreamed once. i was in a walmart with my parents shopping just going with the flow and avoiding clocks and such and then i got to the checkout and couldn't wait to get outside so i could just get to the good part and then i took a cursory glance to my right and locked eyes with this guy at the vision center and my dream just froze and i was stuck staring at him and all i could hear was static and i woke up in a state of intense sleep paralysis and believed i was dying in my sleep for like 10 minutes.

i haven't tried lucid dreaming since...

last night i had a dream about going to this awesome hostel/camp in the outskirts of amsterdam (i dream about amsterdam all the time) and it was a christian place but it was 9 euro a night and had a pool, a gym, a lake, and amazing living accommodations so i went for it. they ended up figuring out i wasn't a christian when they had a political speaker come and he started trash talking Bernie Sanders and i looked at my friend and said, "that's such BS" and then they forced me to leave but i stayed there another night and befriended some dude from Romania that was kicked out for being Romanian (??) and then stayed at his cousins place then woke up before i could get my goddamn refund for the rest of the week i paid for.

 I've been getting weird fever dreams lmao.

 The old BlockBusters (rip) area in town had been flipped and turned into clubs so I was waiting to get into one when I started talking to a woman and I took my wallet out and she tried snatching it so I'm like "noooope" and she's got her hand on it so I'm getting ready to throw her over my shoulder and then she lets go.

 I go to a queue into a club and start speaking to Opie or someone from Sons of Anarchy and I tell him what happened and that I'm going and he's like "so do you like my brother?" and I'm like "nah, he's messed up" before heading off across a carpark, up a banking and through an opening in the trees and I'm walking under a bridge and it's that really nice time of day when the sun is orange and everything is lovely and warm. Pretty sure there were skaters nearby? There were definitely people, it was definitely a place where they would be.

 I can't remember the rest tbh, I remember the pictures but I can't explain it.


 Cool thing about lucid dreaming though: you're not meant to look in mirrors or at your hands? People (anecdotal tbh) say that they see horrific things in mirrors and the only time I looked at my hands whilst lucid, my fingers were all crooked and broken.

I dreamed I was playing pokemon crystal and I found a shiny rattata (probably the wrong colour though. Never seen a shiny rattata. It was white) at first, I couldn't find any pokeballs. Or even the place they're kept in the bag I think. I eventually found them. I had two master balls and one ball with a "decent catch rate" (probably a great ball) I threw it and caught it. Too bad it was just a dream though! 

I honestly don't know why I didn't use the master ball! Lol

i spent so long attempting WILDing to no avail cos i kept shocking myself awake (if you realise its a dream Too Loudly everything fades to black, its so annoying) and so far i get this vague "im in a dream and aware its a dream but still playing dream logic instead of going off and doing my own thing cos im a pooplord clownbrain" and its so annoying. or i'll get lucid and get Distracted and instantly forget.

 i wanna proper lucid dream aaaaaaaaaa. like you can make out with crushes in lucid dreams and do dumb anime attacks. which is incredibly lame i guess as goals to lucid dream but still aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa





altho i do have this weird "concentrate/Rushing Sound in my ears" wake up dream technique which is a really useful ejector seat in bad dreams?  a few people i know who lucid dream/semi-lucid dream know about it and just my luck the only times im proper lucid is when i have to use it to get out of a very dangerous and/or painful situation (anyone who says you can't feel pain in dreams is lying)

i dreamed i was at some national park and my friends and i planned to go on a kayaking trip but i forgot to buy my tickets so i had to run like a mile to some nearby bank and buy them there, but while i was running i dropped my phone down a flight of stairs and cracked it. super sad stuff

edit: just remembered i checked my bank account after i broke the phone and i had $640 so now im not sure if thats a good dream or a bad dream...

 I had a dream where me and my friends were exploring a street with inexplicably abandoned houses. We would go into the houses and they would be run-down with the carpet torn out and stuff. We went into separate rooms and I'm not sure what would happen but we would have to leave and every time we did someone would go missing inside the house. I remember that the door would have locked behind them when they entered whatever room.

 Then after I woke up and went back to sleep I had a dream where I was being chased by two demons up a flight of stairs before turning, jumping over them to the bottom of the stairs, and roaring at them but the roar freaked me out and woke me up since it started as a croaking noise then more and more substance was added to it.

 They seem to be more nightmarish these days but they stopped being scary a long time ago.

Been getting a recurring nightmare about somehow being forced to come out as agender/asexual and being completely ostracized by my family for it. Probably getting it because I am terrified this might actually happen. Like, I'm eventually going to get so frustrated with them that I accidently come out, then, though they probably won't kick me out, they'll start treating me differently, try to change me, just, ugh, I need to get out of here.

I had this dream where I was walking down this road, talking to someone (can't remember who) then, at the end of the road, there was an almost vertical hill, it was impossible to climb. So I went down a slope on the side (and almost fell over doing so) I was now in a field. There was (of all the most random things in the world) a metal ladder leading to another field. Then I looked down. There (for some reason) was a deer. It was buried up to it's neck. I assumed it was dead. So just as I was about to leave and I raise my foot to walk away, the deer's eye opened wide. I then legged it! I could see as I ran, the deer was coming out of the ground. The I could hear jacksepticeye shouting "run! Just run!" then it all turned into jacksepticeye playing happy wheels and the deer became a cheetah (or something similar) and it explodes billy and bobby



And jacksepticeye is shouting about how horrible their death is as they die.
