Your Star Pokemon
« on: March 08, 2015, 23:50 »
Do you have a Pokemon that stands above the rest on your team? I do!

Amber, my female Houndoom. She has been on my team since Pokemon Emerald....sadly I lost her when Pokemon stopped doing backwards compatibility. She migrated to Sinnoh, then to Heartgold, then finally to Unova. I lost her in Black version...RIP Amber. She helped me defeat 5 regions. I wish I couldve gotten her to Gen 6.

He's talking about Pokebank.

On topic, my best Pokemon is...

White - Vanilluxe named Vanilla. She only got that way when I got to Iris's gym.
W2 - Emboar named Mr. Pig. I broke my copy, sadly, so I'll miss him.
X - Greninja named Naruto. Honestly, he happens to be popular.
B2 - Fem-Scout as an Altaria. She got like this because of Ghetsis.
αS - Blaziken named George. He's very nice, but protective.

I don't really do this cross-games because level inconsistency sucks the fun out of it. I also like to train as many different Pokemon as possible.

Right now in ORAS I'd have to say Masquerain is the bomb. I was hesitant about raising one as I thought it'd get overpowered by the competition by around level 30+ but this is definitely not the case, it takes hits like nobody's business and very rarely goes down. Bug Buzz has absolutely annihilated the competition when I thought it was all over for me.

Vivillion occupied a similar role in X/Y. The thing just kept pulling KOs out of knowhere.

My Meowth in HG/SS was insane, despite its stats it always had tricks up its sleeves.

Knuckles, my Blaziken (holding Blazikenite of course). Dang guy pulls the first KO out of nowhere (or hammerspace, choose which you prefer) and just gets tougher to take down as time goes on. Plus, look at it, you can't tell me that this is not awesome incarnate, at least in rooster form.

KNUCKLES????

Unlike Fluttershy I Don't Chuckle??

Heck No!

Anyways, my αS team has MUCH more cemented personalities. Two of them are lovebirds, one of them is REEEEEEEEEALLY nice, one of them adventured the high seas (even going so far as to admitting faking his porcelain phobia!!), one of them used to like a certain celebrity until he found out her dark secrets, one of them feels funny around Mega Evolutionary topics (I improvised the whole ordeal because I remembered the tap icon for Mega Evolving keeps pulsating), one of them only smiled ONCE, one of them is just weird, and one of them represents the entire Triforce.

I alternate Pokemon regularly but in my ORAS games, I ALWAYS have the Shiny Metagross on me mainly for the move Hold Back. I use it all the time while using NavDex and its other moves make it reliable during Super Secret Base battles and rematches.

You know, the whole riddle thing starts here.

The characters in question are...

George the Blaziken,
Mabel the Ludicolo,
Chester the Gardevior,
Mr. Peepers the Beautifly,
Kristoff the Mightyena, and
Guybrush Threepwood the Linoone.

In Love=George & Mabel (Mabel even cried when George left Hoenn.)
Kindhearted=George (George shares the same demeanor as Fluttershy.)
Adventurer=Guybrush (He even married Governor Marley.)
Former Fan=Chester (Chester found out Lisia was a siren.)
Reacts to Megas=George (He has headaches of varying degrees.)
Not a Smiler=Kristoff (Kristoff had smiled once after beating the Hoenn E4.)
Powerful, Wise, Corageous=Mr. Peepers (He uses this to his advantage.)

My star pokemon was most indefinitely my Chandelure in Black version. He was always expected to be a pile of trash from everyone because of his design, but when I got him, I was so incredibly surprised by the sweeping potential that he had. And now, he is one of my favorites ever.

I have had two shiny Cubone, each from a different friend with superb IVs. One is now a jolly Marowak from some far away land in the distant past (DanDan is his OT) and the other is a X&Y bred Lv100 Cubone from another friend.

Out of my entire in game team, it would be nothing without Fate the Shiny Meowstic

Like seriously he tanks anything thrown at him, using Prankster to set up screens with a Light Clay in hand (or paw) to make sure the rest of the team barely takes damage.

And on top of that, a Priority Thunder Wave to paralyze too.

He's mean and I love him.

This is going to sound 'pun'ny considering it's a star pokemon, but my Jirachi from the original Sapphire. I forgot how good it is and how much I enjoyed having it on my team in the original GEN III.

I recently migrated it up through the generations and now it back on my team. It felt so rewarding knowing I'd put all that time and effort on the first Sapphire and it hadn't gone to waste. I can still enjoy having the Pokémon from that game on Alpha Sapph.
