Made the long overdue pickup of Project X Zone, so I'll be spamming that alongside League of Legends for the next few days.

edit: 5 hours later: omg its so good someone take this off me or i'll injure myself

Congrats to all - trust me, you'll love uni.

GCSE pals, don't fret; I don't even remember my GCSEs. Just make sure you take A Levels seriously.

Google Chrome on iOS is currently in an unstable build and keeps crashing, meaning at work my rpm (reddits per minute) has fallen drastically.

I concede I haven't been around for three years which may affect my accuracy, but I maintain that muhed sucks eggs

The meet was yesterday. This is a thing. There were photos. And one video.

I'm sure there is more to say...

I'll blow my childhood out on here later, I guess?

I remembered two years ago I showed Tim and a few others the magic of the Royal Festival Hall in Waterloo. Given how busy parks will be due to the London Prudential Bike Marathon, this may be a good place to retreat to.

prolonged absences yay!

due to the distance and cost, I am wary. However, I am not saying "no", I would just like to see if my finances will allow, and also WHEN. I do not want to spend £100-odd for open day tickets, if it would be easier for me to buy advance singles, but of course, this would incur time restrictions.

TL;DR - can I get some approximations for our time-constraints so I know when to buy train tickets and hence whether or not I can make the journey?

I will make another post confirming later.

Fresh new damage calc that suppots Generation V.

The Smogon Calc is being updated to Gen V, but this is much more simplistic. If you prefer PO over Shoddy, this is your calc.

If we're going to go by Smogon from now on, I'm not confident what the purpose of this thread will become, but if you're interested regardless, the Smogon OU banlist has been up for a while now. I can provide a link to the announcement which has the full list, but if frowned upon, I'll list only what's really important here;
  • Moody is banned on all Pokemon.
  • Swift Swim and Drizzle cannot be used on the same team.
  • Blaziken (all iterations), Deoxys (Attack), Deoxys (Normal), Garchomp, and Shaymin-S are the only real notable banned Pokemon. Most other Pokemon previously in the Ubers tier are still there. Zekrom and Reshiram have joined them.
  • Latios, Latias, Mew, Victini, Salamence, and Wobbuffet are not banned.

Are Thundurus/Tornadus the same to the roaming birds/dogs in Gen IV in that defeating them and then beating the E4 makes them return with a new IV set? Or will they stick from the moment I first see them?
To my knowledge, this is correct; they will reappear with new IVs and natures if KOed once you defeat the Elite Four again.

Also in response to 1794mew and Liam; quite honestly, Gyarados's Intimidate is what makes it so fearsome. if you want to use a Dragon Dance Moxie user, then Scrafty really is your better bet. Gyarados loves Intimidate as it is what gives it its incredible bulk, allowing it to stay in and smash the opponent, whereas Scrafty makes do on a single Dragon Dance and then uses type-effectiveness and brute force to gain Moxie boosts and eventually OHKO the opponent's team.

On top of that, the numbers are now from 1-3 as opposed to from 2-4.

and @Dan_Dan, I was replying to Tim's comment regarding why Doryuuzu is fearful.
