I know for a fact that Eevee and evolutions can't learn Explosion by any means, but I'm curious about something.

Theoretically speaking, if I had a Sylveon with Pixilate, Adamant nature, Perfect Attack IVs and EVs and a Pixie plate, how powerful would Explosion become?

Not to mention Sylveon would get STAB too, since Pixilate turns Normal moves (which is what Explosion is) into Fairy moves!

Explosion has 250 base power, ignoring STAB and other boosts.

I'm not planning on hacking for one or anything, even though I'm a known action replay user on this site, I'm just curious.

EDIT: Oops, I meant 250 base power, 200 is Self-Destruct!

It'd be more powerful with Choice band, but tbf it's not that strong because Sylveon has a pathetic base attack (65). A more fitting thing would be the likes of Mega Pinsir, if it was theoretically able to hold a choice band, or even without it'd still be stronger than Sylveon.

Also explosion has 250 base power, unless they nerfed it =P

A few things:

1. How would Sylveon even learn explosion? That make no sense to me
2. The Special Attack stat is so much better on sylveon and that's outclassed by SPD.
3. That being said and looking at the calcs, have we been using sylveon wrong?

About 3, if it didn't faint after exploding, this would be amazing.

In the games, it is implied that the pokemon merely "faints" upon using the moves. Maybe it just sleeps for a while or something.

Using the rage glitch would probably make it unable to be transferred to X and Y through Bank.

I don't believe Banks filter checks moves, actually, might be wrong but I've heard it's filter for illegitimate pokemon is kinda crappy and illegal movesets aren't included.
