Title: Live action Pokemon movie
Post by: Petzbreeder on July 23, 2016, 15:09
I read on BBC News (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36853970) that there are plans to make a live action Pokemon movie.

I personally think it isn't going to be all that good, I mean, look at Dragonball Evolution! If you thought Dragonball Evolution was bad, look up Dragonball The Magic Begins if you haven't seen that one already.

I wasn't so keen on the Death Note live action movies either.

It would be interesting to find out how they would make it. the Pokemon would most likely be made with CGI.

Your thoughts?

considering pokemon go is out i feel like it is either going to come out very good or very awful. then again, their budget is going through the ROOF now thanks to pokemon go's huge success, as well as the movies already under nintendos belts. i don't know, i'm actually quite confident about it.

I'm a bit pessimistic about it to be honest. I mean it's a cool concept, but so many other franchises have tried it, and most of them flopped. The main reason it'll probably end up popular is people getting pokemon go and suddenly they act like they've been fans since you killed your rival's raticate.
