Just an inquiry, what was the luckiest thing to ever happen to happen to in a pokemon game? For me, it was catching a shiny Wailmer that had the pokerus too.

Finding a shiny Roselia while hatching Honedge eggs...I also hatched a shiny Togepi in SoulSilver, I wasn't even trying to. o-o

I got a shiny Giratina after doing ~26,670 SRs. Even luckier than that, finding a shiny Torchic after hatching 7 eggs. I was happy to say the least, ahaha.
Outside of that, the countless hax I have achieved in competitive.

latias in sapphire was poisoned, had like 20hp left at which point i almost started crying because i hadnt saved for like an hour and had done a lot in that time
took poison damage, i took a chance anyway and tossed a poke ball (like, an actual poke ball) and caught it
then i checked its stats and saw it literally had 1hp left from its last poison damage
ive had so much bad luck with pokemon but damn that was GOOD

was fighting steven in sapphire, out of pp on swamperts eq so I pretty much gave up
looked through my items for anything, I had a leppa berry or something that restored pp
I had nearly sold them earlier just for an extra max potion or something
then I spammed eq and won

Shiny Minccino in White. I named her P!nk and gave her to X and evolved her.
Shiny Japanese Lv. 100 Terrakion from Wondertrade.
Got Fabled Cave Zekrom in 2 Ultra Balls.
My entire team is Lv. 100.
I won the initial Lisia Contest after 2 tries. AND THE GARDEVOIR WASN'T EVEN MAXED OUT CUTENESS YET NOR DID HE HAVE GARDEVOIRITE.

Hatching a Porygon with 6 in every Stat except Speed and with Analytic, hatching a Female Charmander with Beat Up, finding a Seedot with Beat Up on my first encounter, finding an Absol with Beat Up and holding a Life Orb, and finding a Pikachu holding a Light Ball and the Egg move Wish.

There was one time in online play my Froslass dodged three times in a row and the turn after took a poke out with destiny bond.

Shiny Electabuzz in the Battle Pyramid (couldn't have balls, so that was kind of unfortunate).
Got my Sylveon (Ronnie) after only 3 hearts Got Mesprit in a Luxury Ball.
I got a male Wigglytuff (B2).
Got Thundurus with a team of Lv. 30-odds.

Luckiest thing I've ever gotten on Wonder Trade was a Japanese Ditto holding a Quick Powder and Pokerus in my X version. Still keep it in a PC Box for safe keeping.

My luckiest thing ever? I would say when I caught Groudon in Emerald using just one Ultra Ball. No cheating and no lie. I just chucked an Ultra Ball at it and it got caught in the ball. I didnt even lower its hp or lay an attack at all.

Another feat was when I beat the E4 with only Kristoff the Mightyena left, at liek 10-ish HP too.

what kind of maths are you doing? i worked it out to about 1/9,523,200
